Thats true..but you gotta at least respect him for his love for the game..yeah he pulled a dick move on Chicago,but he's still,in my mind,a good player.Age comes into the perspective with this one,too.Im about to go into college,so i dont remember much of Chelios before his Detroit days. -

Well when someone plays their brains out every damn nite and does everything in his power to help this team be successful,u might wanna give him some credit.I never said he's a hall of famer.And if u take Darren McCarty off the team for his entire career,they dont win 4 cups for sure.I never said he has to be ur favorite player,but give him some credit for all that he's done for this oranization and this city.ur an assclown -

as a part of the "enforcer"crowd i make the mistakes of going into threads talking about Hudler w his hookers or whatever..and it doesnt even really take much for sparks to fly...in my case,a thread like the Hudler one was not a good one for a pro-enforcer poster to get into..it just matters what other posters are around..if ur an anti-enforcer (im not saying u are)and u go into a topic about Aaron Downey,theres gonna be sparks flying.like i said it doesnt take much. -

Exactly.Probert used to deck goalies like it was legal,and yes,when Holland gets his head out of his ass and figures out that,in fact,skill AND grit is the key to success,we'll be on our way.Some posters on this site would not have liked the 80s ad 90s..its hockey..and Downey threw a simple elbow...2 minute penalty and forget about it.....Jesus
