What I just got done saying in another thread. We need guys that want to be here. Hudler, Franzen, Bertuzzi, and Filppula have gotten too comfortable with their spots in the lineup seemingly reserved.

Neither will get 60-70 points, obviously. Their trade values are so low right now, it would be hard to deal one, let alone both, out of town. Franzen didn't have a shot in almost 20 minutes of ice time tonight. Stuart has looked terrible. Bertuzzi has 3 points this season. Hell, look at Zetterberg, 4 points. These guys are all past their prime, and on the downslide of their careers, whether we want to face it or not.

I only got to catch the 3rd. Did we look flat for the first 2, as well? Franzen: 0 points, 0 shots, -2 in almost 20 minutes of ice time. Filppula: 0 points, 1 shot in almost 15 minutes of ice time. Time to shake it up, Ken. This team is too skilled to be scoring 1 goal per game.

McGrattan's a good scrapper. The only guys that would fight him are Colton Orr, George Parros, Cam Janssen,Trevor Gillies, Steve MacIntyre, Darcy Hordichuk, Eric Boulton, and Jody Shelley. That makes 8. 15 years ago he would've had many more guys willing to go with him. Probert, Kocur, McSorley, Grimson, Odgers, Berube, Domi, Worrell, Belak, Cummins, Cairns, Laraque, and Brashear are just guys off the top of my head. "Goons" are truly a rare breed im the NHL today. Nashville plays Phoenix tonight. I'd be shocked if Bissonnette even looks at him.

Earlier in his career with the Islanders, Jackman wasn't a good fighter at all. He's gotten better as he's gained experience. Not the best fighter, for sure, but as long as Kostopoulos and Stortini are around, Jackman won't have to worry about being the NHL's official punching bag. I hope Commodore (Or anyone for that matter) goes after Kostopoulos directly.
