Moore has kept the whole thing going. Several years ago, he was offered a contract and turned it down. He could be playing right now, but he chooses to be a whine ass about the whole thing. He's in it for the money.

I watched some of the game tonight, and he looked awesome. Made some highlight-reel saves. Not sure if we had a chance to get him before, though.

Montreal sits 1-5-2 after their first games in, but they would be silly to trade Travis Moen at this point. He's second in team scoring with 5 points. He's been the only semi-consistent player offensively, outside of Max Pacioretty. Also, outside of him, they are extremely small and soft. Until Mike Blunden was recently re-called, their fourth line consisted of a combination of Andreas Engqvist, Aaron Palushaj, David Desharnais, and Peterri Nokalainen was just acquired. I think Montreal could look for some grit for the bottom 6. Many analysts have agreed they are far too small up front. Erik Cole has been a huge disappointment so far, scoring 2 points in Montreal's first 8 games. Montreal needs to really shake things up, but trading Travis Moen isn't the way to go.

Andrew Ladd is wearing a visor against the Rangers tonight. He's got a pretty good shiner after taking a puck to the eye last week in Ottawa.
