10 Candidates for a bounce-back season
Bring Back The Bruise Bros replied to Hockeytown0001's topic in General
True. Souray is really going to have to show up to camp, because he's on the outside looking in right now in Dallas. Hopefully he can find his game again and put together a good year, but the guy's been a total bust. I think Commodore will get a decent amount of games under his belt in the regular season. Hopefully he can stay healthy and let other teams know we're not gonna get pushed around. He's not a great fighter, but he is no stranger to dropping the mitts. -
Which is Most Likely to Happen this Season
Bring Back The Bruise Bros replied to GMRwings1983's topic in General
If I felt there was any chance at all, you know I'd vote the enforcer option -
Following up their act of heroics, Commodore and Helm team up and discover the cure for HIV/AIDS.

Mike Commodore and Sheldon Souray. -
Hudler and Miller to Montreal for Kostitsyn and Moen.

What a team we had back in 2002. Miss the days of the Grind Line. I never realized how much I really liked McCarty, Draper, and Maltby until they all retired They were such a pivotal part of our defense. Especially our penalty kill.

Rob Schremp to the SEL on a one-year deal.
-
When he first broke into the league with Phoenix, I was a big fan of Carcillo. Sure, he took plenty unscruplous penalties back then as well, but he fought everyone and he showed some skill with the puck. The past couple years, he's turned into a spotpicking agitator. Hopefully he can improve his overall game this year(As long as it isn't against us) as well as back up his loud mouth.

Greetings fellow hockey nuts. I am looking for info on where the best places to find past and present NHL photos are. Everything from original 6 NHL to present-day NHL. I've seen many 8X10s on Ebay and was wondering if there are other options out there. I'm not looking for any autogtaphed photos. Thanks in advance.

Jack Hillen to Nashville on a 2-way deal.
-
Thanks for the input guys. Would you guys say Ebay is a good place to purchase them?

Replace the "s" with a swastika and he'll be able to understand your question.

The rumor was Vancouver, although it seems not with Nolan and Fedoruk in the mix.

What do you think today is, Christmas? Hopefully Winchester finds somewhere to play

Finnish media reporting Jarkko Ruutu has signed in Finland. Not sure how accurate the reports are, though.

Stephane Veilleux signs one year, two-way contract with New Jersey. Patrick O'Sullivan signs one-year, two-way contract with Phoenix. Freddy Meyer to the SEL. Rob Niedermayer to Switzerland. Sergei Shirokov and Anssi Salmela to the KHL. Jesse Joensuu to the SEL? Thought he'd get some ice time on Long Island this year. Extremely minor news. But news, nonetheless I suppose. Garth Snow must be on vacation.
-
Owen Nolan and Todd Fedoruk sign professional tryout contracts with Vancouver. They're still looking to fill a hole or two in the bottom 6.
-
Blake Comeau re-signs with the Islanders.

Has Bobby Orr talked about Lidstrom?
Bring Back The Bruise Bros replied to ben_usmc's topic in General
Lidstrom and Bobby Orr aren't private bankers or CEOs of global corporations, so no need to run from them. -
Hudler for Clarkson?!?!

Has anyone noticed what they are doing in Sunrise, FL?
Bring Back The Bruise Bros replied to hockey&beer's topic in General
Yeah the lines are obviously subject to change(Hence the"Something along the lines of"). Wouldn't be surprised to see Santorelli get 2nd line ice time as well. -

We're looking at something along the lines of (Barring any trades): Weiss-Booth-Versteeg Dadonov-Fleischmann-Bergenheim Upshall-Satorelli-Kopecky Bradley-Goc-Matthias Timmins/Shirokov(?) Campbell-Jovanovski Kulikov-Ellerby Weaver-Garrison Strachan/Gudbranson(?) I think Mike Santorelli will have another solid year. He was one of the few bright spots for Florida last year with 41 points(20 goals, 21 assists) in his first full NHL season. Hard to build a team when there's a firesale seemingly every summer, though. Departures from last year's Panthers squad include Marty Reasoner, Sergei Samsonov, Niclas Bergfors, Steve Bernier, Darcy Hordichuk, and Ryan Carter. -
Nikolai Zherdev would be open to joining Winnipeg. The big question is: Is Winnipeg open to dealing with him?
-
Brent Sopel to the KHL.

No wonder everyone hates you on here.
