Crysby is probably the biggest diver in the league today. Although Joe Thornton is always keeping pace with him. Other not so honorable mentions include Jarkko Ruutu, P.K. Subban, Divin Setoguchi, Logan Couture, Alex Burrows, Matt Cooke, Mike Ribeiro, and Max Lapierre. Unfortunately, i'm sure there's plenty I forgot.

Eric Boulton signs 2 year deal with New Jersey. Teams in the Atlantic continue to beef up. Ryan Reaves re-signs with St. Louis. He could possibly fill Cam Janssen's role for the Blues. Michael Haley, Ty Wishart, and Dylan Reese all re-sign with Islanders on two-way deals. Ben Maxwell re-signs with Winnipeg, giving them additional depth up front.
-
Calgary acquires Pierre-Luc Letourneau-Leblond, who is on a one way contract for the year. And I called this one: Cam Janssen signs one-year deal with New Jersey.
-
Steve MacIntyre has signed a one year deal with Pittsburgh. *Smashes his monitor and proceeds to stomp on the mess* Happy he found somewhere to play, but anywhere except Pittsburgh would've been cool.
-
Eric Godard signs a 2 year deal with Dallas. Two-way deal for the first year and a 1 way deal for the second. Morrow-Eriksson-Ryder Benn-Ribeiro-Dvorak Ott-Fiddler-Burish Barch-Petersen-Dowell Godard/Wandell Not particularly a fan of him, but i'm happy he found somewhere to play.

Ducks acquire Andrew Cogliano. Looks as if he'll take Todd Marchant's place as a speedy 3rd/4th line center.
-
Other than the Erik Cole acquisition, Montreal has been relatively quiet. They have plenty of cap space, don't they? James Wisniewski left for Columbus. Roman Hamrlik and Jeff Halpern went to Washington. Benoit Pouliot left for Boston. Tom Pyatt signed with Tampa. Josh Gorges is potentially taking them to arbitration. Big changes again in Montreal this summer? I think so.

Read an article earlier on The Hockey Writers that suggested a couple things: Either Anaheim could play two "enforcers" (McGrattan and Parros) on the same line(Like Shawn Thornton did with Parros in 2007), or he could see time in Syracuse(Anaheim's AHL Affiliate), and be used sparingly with the Ducks when Parros in unable to play. I'd love to see Parros and McGrattan on the same line

Brian McGrattan signs one-year, two-way deal with Anaheim.

You get an A-. You could've put Doan's face on the 3rd guy

Let's trade Hudler to retirement for Kirk Maltby

Wings re-sign Ericsson to 3-year, $9.75m contract

And Vice Versa. -
Thought Langenbrunner could have re-signed with Dallas. Looking at the Stars defense, there will be some healthy competition for spots on D. Daley-Robidas Pardy-Goligoski Grossman-Fistric Souray

Do Maple Leaf fans deserve better?

That's what i'm saying, Burke is never this quiet during the summer. There will be more shakeups in Toronto. -
Huggy Bear Zack Stortini signs one-year, two-way deal with Nashville. J-F Jacques signs one-year deal with Anaheim.

How about Steve Bernier for a "Project player"? Once thought of as a promising winger, he has bounced around and looking for a spot somewhere. -
I was hoping Souray would go to the East so we could see Round 2. Also, we could've seen Erskine annihilate him. Erskine would kill Souray.

Columbus is putting together a solid offseason thus far.

Red Wings / Griffins sign Exelby, Pyett

No!!! Not Amadio! -
Thank ya much, sir.

We should make an official " KHL" thread, featuring news of NHL players headed off to the KHL. There tends to be a decent amount of NHLers that leave for Russia every offseason. Not many so far this year, though.
-
Absolutely. Think Commodore will grow the fro out this year?
-
I'm fairly certain yes. I'm not an expert on arbitrary hearings though. Do you know if players can reject their arbitration awards and become UFAs?
-
Yucky yucky. Best of luck to him in Boston.

We've gotta find a way to get Brandon Dubinsky. Big mistake by Sather, imo.
