Haven't heard anything from Miller either.

No, No, NO! Jagr interested in Detroit.

Those Detroit colors have just cursed us. He will come to Detroit, now. -
Unfortunately, its a long shot for now. in another 2-3 years, he'll have a spot, I think. Get into what?

Kennedy wasn't sent a qualifying offer, making him a UFA on Friday. Maybe he will re-sign with them once free agency opens? Various sources reporting he wants to stay there, and Lemieux wants him back.

Callahan has a few more years, my friend.

Ehrhoff's rights traded to NYI, then traded to Buffalo

I'd be alright with Richards, as long as we don't lock ourselves up with a 5 or 6 or 20 year contract. I take it Hudler's the odd man out, in that situation? -
Damn. I was hoping he would be available. I wonder if they're planning on keeping Mike Rupp around.

Hopefully Wiz realizes he's got a much better chance to win a cup here. -

Meaning Kenny will sign him on 7/1. God damn it. -
This is exactly why I was not a fan of the cap rising.

Appearing to be the latter :/

So...time is running out to get Eaves and/ or Miller re-signed. Haven't heard anything about negotiations and to be honest, i'm getting a little nervous.

It's only fitting to have another ******* has-been floater to replace Modano. I will be beyond pissed if he comes here. I'm trying to stay positive about this, but its looking worse and worse. -

He was surrounded by a ton of talent in Vancouver. He's overrated as hell. Quit kidding yourself. -

He's like the fat chick that wears skimpy little clothes because she thinks she's so hot, she doesn't realize she's 350 pounds and only the desperate 60 year olds would hit that. -

LOL. Why don't you guys focus on making the playoffs before you make predictions like that. -
Toronto's Christian Hanson and Tim Brent will reportedly become unrestricted free agents July 1st, in addition to Fredrik Sjostrom and Jay Rosehill. Needless to say, Burkie will be re-structuring his bottom 6. I haven't heard much about Colton Orr lately. Last year, it was once thought he would be forced into early retirement due to concussion issues. Rumors are circulating that Burke is looking to trade for Max Talbot's negotiating rights. I wouldn't be surprised if he went after Zenon Konopka or Cam Janssen, as well.

Might have been. I wouldn't be surprised if a team that is desperate to hit the cap floor threw him a massive contract. (Edmonton, Florida) -

Hitting and fighting is yucky and rude, I know. How has Wisniewski "sucked"? 51 points in 75 games this past season. He broke into the league with the Blackhawks, so of course his numbers early in his career won't be stellar. Ehrhoff already rejected a Bieksa-like contract. How much does he think he's worth? Bieksa is making a shade under 5 mil a year. -
RFAs Who Did Not Receive Qualifying Offer
Bring Back The Bruise Bros replied to mmamolo's topic in General
I think Kyle Chipchura would be a good fit here. Good penalty killer. Gritty guy. Also, Anthony Stewart wouldn't be bad, but at the same time, this isn't the first time a team has chosen not to send him a qualifying offer. I hope Dan Carcillo finds a home, although I doubt it will be here. Maybe a reunion with Phoenix?
