Put Abdelkader, Eaves, Helm, or Miller on a line with Trevor Gillies and Michael Haley and see how many points they rack up. -

Not too often, but here and there. The person below me has not met a fellow LGWer. -

Titties! -
Good game. Tampa really crashed Thomas in the 3rd, but the interference penalty on Malone was bull, in my opinion. Seidenberg ran over Thomas, It seemed, not Malone. He was simply going to the net. Nate Thompson had another solid game. Seguin really showed up tonight.

I don't want to see this get ugly. It's a tragedy, and nobody should be pointing fingers at anyone right now.

That's very interesting. There's a number of things that could have played a role in his passing. Has Torts said anything about it?

Relatively. The person below me is eager to order some new Detroit Tigers gear online, all of a sudden. -
This is where Holland's loyalty hurts the team, in my opinion. He's had plenty of chances to prove himself since he came back, and I don't believe he showed he can play at the level he used to on a regular basis. Hopefully Holland recognizes this and we can experiment with someone else.

If Vancouver loses game 2, all Nucks fans will want Kesler on the trade block -

I'm sure Detroit plans on giving him a raise, but not what he's looking for. If he wants too much, good riddance. Don't let the door hit ya in the ass. There are plenty of more solid 3rd pairing guys available for a lower tag than him. -

In addition, isn't he decent in the faceoff circle? -
Homer needs to be a 4th liner/PP specialist next season..

I don't understand how some can speculate that Cleary and Filppula should be traded when they were two of the more consistent players in the playoffs.. Every year it's "Cleary is expendable" no matter what the guy does. -

You know what, you've got a good point there. A Brad May/Aaron Downey type, for the rougher games with Anaheim, etc, as well as to fill a spot in the event of an injury. Dan Carcillo, anybody? -
I wouldn't be surprised if Cole stayed in Carolina. Who knows how many offers Tanguay will get. His "Market value" probably increased over the year. I agree that a tough gritty guy is key. Other than a few minor moves, I don't see a ton happening.

I try, but trying is different from succeeding. The person below me has compiled a list of players they want Kenny to ****** up over the summer. -
I'd be happy with Konopka, but I think Tanguay is a bit of a risk. He had a decent season, but he's injury prone and quite streaky at times. As far as Christian Erhoff, i'm not so sure Vancouver will let him walk, guess it all depends on their cap situation. I'm pretty sure either him or Kevin Bieksa will be let go.

Totally forgot about him. Solid penalty killer and isn't afraid to mix it up. I like your style, Doc -

Wisniewski will have a ton of offers being tossed his way, and at ~4 mil, I don't think Kenny's going to be eager to pursue him. -

Mac seems to like it in Edmonton. Hopefully they keep him around. Probably for at or around the same price (500K I think?). How about Sheldon Brookbank for the 3rd pairing on defense? -

Hopefully the goons find a home this summer. I know it won't be in Detroit, but hopefully guys like Eric Godard, Trevor Gillies, John Scott, Steve MacIntyre, and Darcy Hordichuk find a home, whether it be via free agency or re-upping with their current teams. Also, Brian McGrattan had a great year in the minors, and he looks like he's really improved his game all around. I met him at the end of the AHL regular season. I'm really pulling for him to get a regular spot in an NHL lineup. -
