Not worried at all after preseason games, like babcock said, its an opportunity to see who amongst the kids is ready to play in the nhl or not. Only thing i'm worried about is zetterberg already having an injury, i think he's going to have a big season this year (we need it too), but he has to be healthy. Also, I have only seen Bertuzzi in two games, but in both games he's looked good in my opinion. Contrary to others on this site, I actually thought he looked quick out there. The standout for me so far is Kronwall, I just think he is being even more physical so far and I hope he can do it consistantly in the regular season. If not, just in the playoffs will be fine like every other year. I really enjoy watching Ericsson play too. Hate to say this, but for some reason E really reminds me of Pronger. I hope Abs gets to go on the 4th line instead of Malts. I'll admit that I thought we had to put Dats with Z before Babs said the lines, but I think Babs is right, having those guys on separate lines, and being able to have that 3rd line as a legitimate scoring threat, is the best way to go, at least to start.

I've been to the Joe once, a playoff game against Dallas in '08, got the cheapest tickets available, didnt really care where I sat, just wanted to be there. But the seats were bad, I think it was the only section in the entire arena that were this bad, it says "limited viewing" on ticket master and are upper bowl, the rows in the section go straight back (no incline) and you have about a foot of headroom. So when it says "limited viewing", they mean it. Didn't matter to me though, i was just happy to be there.

Ya, I'm still not okay with what hapenned last year, knowing we had the better team and lost. I dont understand why crosby and malkin must be the heroes in the nhl, when datsyuk and zetterberg are just as good/exciting. But I'm not that upset because whenever some smartass rips me for my wings losing last year, i always say "we'll see what happens next year". We have the better team this year too, we should win.

I agree, getting rid of Stuart is not smart. Maybe people are upset that he made a couple poor plays in game 7 against the pens last year that led to goals. Also 2 years ago in the finals he gave the puck away in game three that lead to crosby's goal (they're first goal in the series). But I think overall he's just too valuable to this team to let go. He's really our only big, tough D that can man handle opponents in our end, we need him.
