Awesome share, thanks!!

So what do we call the 26 - 15 - 21 line?
redwingmachine replied to redwingmachine's topic in General
Not every line needs a name, it's just fun (or not). The point is, I think they will be on a line together and I hope they become a main stapple in our lineup. It would be cool to call them somthing other than the kids. -
Wow, that is sweet!
-
That was pretty awesome, thanks for posting!

My laughter turns to tears

I love how after the hit Pavs then blocks his leg from coming up.
-
I think they did and I think we will take something from this game. Q did everything he could do to keep Z from Toews, he won't be able to do that in the Joe on Monday.

Awesome vid, thanks for the post!

Next two off-seasons (it's going to be a two-year process)

Don't let them get you down Blue! I for one enjoy reading your posts, I can't say I always agree with them but I enjoy reading them.... After all isn't that what a hockey forum is for, to share your ideas and discuss them? -
I'm in!! Wings all the way!

You are a space monkey, ready to be shot into space… a sacrifice for the greater good! I salute you sir!

That is pretty badass! Thanks!

I have seen most of you post this before when referring to Jarnkrok, how did he get the nickname Iron Hook? I assume it’s the annunciation of his name but not sure.
-
I see, but it wasn't intentional. I guess I'm not that clever. The idea would closer emulate a break away scenario and we could always use Darren Helm as our honorary SO D-man, no one would ever get a shot off on Jimmy.
-
Actually, I'm being serious..
-
What if they added a defenseman to the mix on a shootout? For example, the D-man stands on the opposite blue line and can’t chase until the puck is touched at center. This would add a level of back pressure and Kane would get crushed trying to pull that slow-mo BS he does. Just my $0.02.

This doesn’t make any sense. So, Babs won’t break up the abysmal 2nd line to not mess with the chemistry of the 3rd line and yet sends the best guy on the 3rd line down for an unknown. Awesome! Nyquist better end up with Dats or somewhere in the top six.

Can't wait to get a look at this kid. Also, can't wait to hear the proper annunciation of his name.

NHL submits offer to NHLPA - **Suspension Warning Post #70 & #273*

This is interesting: "- Money paid (above a defined threshold) to Players on NHL SPCs in another professional league (e.g., the AHL or a European league) will be charged against the NHL team's Cap, but not against the Players' Share." "- Flexibility-related adjustments to Payroll Range System, including (in addition to Salary/Cap Charge allocation in Player trades): 2. Elimination of Re-Entry Waivers;" Does this mean for example that we could simply rotate guys like Emmy and Tatar the the AHL and not risk them to Re-Entry Waivers all the while only have a cap hit of what is above the undisclosed Defined Threshold while they are in the AHL? Maybe I'm misunderstanding this. -

That's really hard to say but I would assume all 3 that you mention would be the likely candidates. If it were me, I suppose I would go with Sammy so not to mess with current team chemistry and I don't see what he has that we don't already have. Then again he is right handed and has some clutch goals for us and it seems like a real **** move to bring him here just to buy him out. -

The truth about Ken Holland is he is a genius, and those that disagree simply haven’t the capacity. -

Yeah, it looks like Holland is a lot smarter than some give him credit for. If the cap is lowered to 60mil for the start of the 2013 season.... what a mess. Boston Bruins » $68,867,976 Minnesota Wild » $68,848,867 Vancouver Canucks » $67,768,333 Calgary Flames » $66,668,332 Philadelphia Flyers » $66,643,373 San Jose Sharks » $65,241,667 Chicago Blackhawks » $64,445,128 Buffalo Sabres » $64,354,523 Montreal Canadiens » $63,897,976 Washington Capitals » $63,594,572 Toronto Maple Leafs » $63,485,833 Tampa Bay Lightning » $63,246,916 Edmonton Oilers » $62,933,333 Los Angeles Kings » $62,320,227 Detroit Red Wings » $61,442,045 Pittsburgh Penguins » $60,989,333 -

I think this should solve that problem (if i understand it correctly): "- Each Club will be entitled to execute up to one "Compliance Buy-Out" prior to the 2013/14 season pursuant to which payments made to the Player will not be charged against the team's Cap, but will be charged against the Players' Share." -
Hahaha, what the hell?

I love that man. So freaking talented and yet so humble.
