I agree, I think this team does have the talent. It's not enough to have talent, you need to show up and play your ass off, and you have to want it more than the other guy. The last 2 games, and most of last year, I haven't seen that. The Stars totally picked us apart, they know we pass through the center in our own zone and they were there to pick those passes. I am concerned that it is time to change up our style a little. I feel like we have become predictable. Everyone knows we are going to the point on the PP, and everyone knows Homer will be in his office.

I was watching the game on a local Chicago channel - I couldn't believe it when I heard them refer to Hossa has HOSS!! HOSS!? That is a big fat hill-billy thing. I hate Chicago announcers. I only care because ignorance gets on my nerves.

I hate to say it, but my only concern is Ozgood in net tonight. Maybe seeing the banner raising and beating the....(gulp) cup champs, will revive the great and powerful Oz. Give 'em hell Ozzie!!!

I couldn't believe my eyes, Pavs and Perry. I'm glad Jimmy gave him the big FU glove to the face. It's really too bad the Ducks had to goon it up... then again thats all they can do because they can't play hockey. Jimmy with a shut out!! Modo with 1st!! Pavs with a Howe hat trick!! I was at the game Saturday night. I have to say, despite the score, our boys played well. I thought they moved the puck well and simply missed a few really good chances to net the puck. I was quite impressed with Kindl, Smith, Mursak, and Tartar. I’m looking forward to seeing more of these guys. Smith needs to add some weight, but he looked great as far as I’m concerned. Ozzie’s side-to-side wasn’t up to par and he gave up some really juicy rebounds. I really want to see him get his game back, I got a lotta love for the Oz. I was impressed with the amount of Wings fans that were at the game and sporting the red and white. I just have to add that Blackhawk fans are REAL assholes. Drunken dumbasses trying to start s*** with me while I was there with my wife, son and nephew. Real classy. When the Hawks fans would start their “Detroit sucks” chant we would return the chant with “ELE-VEN CUPS!” I can't wait to see our starting line up destroy these guys on Oct 9th durring their banner party.
