Out of the 3 it has to be Datsyuk hands down. Most take aways and + - rating is the best in the league. how many times this season we saw Datsyuk make opposition look like asses by slipping the pack away, or by coming back and ruining scoring chances for rushing forwards...

I saw the end of game 7 too and AO was all class, he should be the face of hockey, but legally I am obligated to say crosby when I mention the word hockey lol.... he is awesome and I am sure will raise the cup within the next 5 years if they continue building the team around their young talent...

cherry hates all non canadian players, watches 30 second clips of the actual games, his idea of physical is dump and chase the puck then crash the net and score and level everyone on the way in... cherry is senile for sure lol

wait hold on, so did anyone think Wings were going to sweep the Predators? So basically unless wings win 16 games in a row, we are going to blame Hasek for each loss... The team seems to lose composure when Predators put too much preassure on and Hasek has to bail the wings out every time. I am sure Babcock flipped out on everyone aside from Hasek to start playing all 60 minutes of the game... I honestly think that there wasn't even one line that was solid defensively all night. Predators even scored with LIdstrom on the ice...

hopefully trotz will eat his words when Wings will sweep preds without official's "help". I noticed even when the calls were horrible and not in wings favor during the season, Babcock never whined about it....

I think currently Datsyuk is a more complete 2 way player. He can score, set up and defend (not physically, but with skill). Zetta is more of a scorer, but in the next 2 years its impossible to say who is better. They are probably equally good...

yea its pretty funny lol. I live in NYC and cover page of New York papers were covered with Avery pics today lol. even if he did go, who cares really he is a single person who as someone already mentioned not the governer of New York, who prosecuted prostitutes and brothels as well as those who visited them...

on the other hand if he does get a chance to play some games before playoffs, it would be interesting how he will respond under preassure and see if he can produce to make the cut for playoff roster...

doesn't annoy me at all. AO is one of the most exciting players to watch. plus get crazy when his team mates score as well. If anything he gets his team going....

this would be totally awesome since I live in NYC. problem with NY weather though, its always up and down it could even rain out in the winter... it would be absolutely awesome, hopefully not on new years day though,,, tough to shake that hang over off...

Datsyuk is awesome lol. Definately my favorite player right now on the Wings. He used to make me nervous before because wings sometimes would get caught in their own end when datsyuk's line was on the line, especially against oppositions larger more physical lines. Doesn't happen these days, Datsyuk seems to outsmart them and outplay them. I think he did surpass a lot of expectations. For me it was probably when he took the MVP of the russian super league during the lock out, I thought for sure he is going to come back to NHL a better more mature player. I think goal wise he will end up doing more in the next 2 years... I would say he is the most complete wings forward right now and is top 10 in nhl for sure. (LIdstrom is still the best Red Wings player though)

it was a great game. Pens were getting outshot badly in the first and second periods. Shame the way the game ended, scoring in their own net and losing a point like that ugh... Funny how Crosby wad miced up and was launhing in a high pitch voice and asking if the guy scored in his own net... It was hard to listen to announcers though, they wouldn't shut up about crosby... ugh... yea Feds played hell of a game

He was out performed by Ovechkin stat wise so far and in his Rookie year as well. Is it because he is well rounded? or is just because he is the best Canadian young player?

I would agree unnecessary violance and crazy commentary is hurting hockey as a sport. There is not place for that kind of stuff in hockey this isn't ufc or wwe

again the stupid comment, the league is going to take a look at that... they always say that and the league doesn't do anything about it. Cross checking in the face should be automatic suspension... that hit on Kopecky the other day, nothing was done about that...

avery with 2 goals tonight against Isles and 8 goals in the past 10 games. I live in NYC and ranger tickets are almost impossible to get. They are always sold out, but it is NYC though... Isles fans are pretty crazy in Long Island. I have seen them throw plastic beer bottles at Tucker and Cujo back when they had a playoff series a few years ago:) I also seen a Canadian and Maple leaf flag get taken away from leafs fans and burned in the parking lot and a bottle get thrown at a leaf fan walking towards the collesium. I would say u see a lot of Ranger jersey too around the league when Rangers travel... I agree though there are lot of wings fans at away games I am surprised the team name is not up there. I live in NYC and have been at lot of isles devils and ranger games against wings and there are always a lot of fans...

prior to that they had Crosby on the frozen moment even though he didn't score any goals and hasn't done anything but come back healthy now. I guess out of all the other cool scoring that night crosby scating on the ice was the greatest highlight for the frozen moment lol.... this was an awesome goal by franzen, nice to have him recognized...
