Thank you... And I agree. I've felt a strange calm since this series started; I was more nervous for the Phoenix series, but even then I felt that the Wings would win that series. It took them seven games to do it but they took their game to a new level and pulled it off. Even now, with the Wings down 2 games, I feel calm. I vented along with others about the poor officiating, but I firmly believe the Wings can still take this series. Maybe I'm overly optimistic, but until this team gives me a reason not to believe, I will stand behind them and believe that they can do anything that they want to.

Thanks for the update on the blog; I was hoping he would have posted something. I just hope that the rest of the Wings take that attitude into the rest of their games. Our team is full of guys that can pull together and do what they need to win. They've done it before and they can do it again. I've never lost faith in this team and I don't intend to start now.

Even if the Western Conference champ has to go through a difficult path (which they will), they certainly won't roll and die when it comes to the SC finals. The Pens, if they make the finals, will have a fight to win the Cup. Vancouver against the Pens? Possibility but I don't see the Canucks coming out winners in that match up. If the finals are Pens vs...whoever, I'm cheering for the Western Conference; can't stand the thought of the Pens winning back to back. Montreal looks really good right now; hope they don't blow the lead like they did in an earlier game..And the Bell Centre is totally rocking!

A little too much pessimism in this thread...Detroit has shown that they can overcome adversity over and over again. I can't believe I'm reading that some of you are so sure that the Wings are not able to win a cup this year. This team can do what it wants; they've shown that with battling back to make it into the playoffs for the 19th straight season. And if Detroit does win this series, I firmly believe they can have a deep run and win another Cup. SetecX - LOL. I hope it's the Messier kind.
