Wow i have been away and busy the last few days and havnt been anywere near the internet plus the close to zero coverage hockey gets over here this is the first time i heard this news. My heart sunk, couldn't believe it and im still in shock.

True goals given due to dodgy offsides are much more likly but there are also a number of goal decisions where goal line technology will help http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U-8dOjeVC80 This one the ball didnt go anywere near in but the ref gives it as a goal This next one i couldnt find a video for it so a picture will have to do You can clearly see the ball in the corner of the net. The goal was not given

I honestly can't understand one bit why sepp blatter will not bring in goal line technology and/or video reviews into the game. It makes zero sense at all. Even if he used the extra officials behind the net in for the word cup like he had for the Europa League then they would of saw Lampards goal was in

WOOOOHOOOO!!!! Made my day!
-
I'm almost certain he said "Fricking"

It was a red card. Handball on the line to stop a goal = Penalty and straight red card

USA were a bit screwed over

I was a goalkeper myself untll a position change bout a year ago, now im a striker. Green made an awful error and i think it was all because of nerves. I remember reading thet Green suffered badly from nerves a few years ago and regulary vomited before games but aparently he got over it, I don't know about that. England should start Hart i think, he is a very good confident keeper and definitly Englands best imo. I said two years ago Green should be starting but now he isn't as good as then and he had a bit of a dodgy season this season

I noticed a couple of weeks ago an interesting connection between my two favorite team, Detroit Red Wings and Manchester United. I know a lot of you couldn't care less about this but i thought i would post it anyway. The connection is between Detroits playoff finishes and Man Uniteds champions league finishes in the past few years: 2007- Detroit: Stanley Cup semi final, Man United: Champions League semi final 2008- Detroit: Stanley Cup winners, Man United: Champions League winners (what a great year ) 2009- Detroit: Stanley Cup final, Man United: Champions League final 2010- Detroit: Stanley Cup quarter final, Man United: Champions League quarter final I am intrigued by this

Another celtic fan I would love to see Mark Hughes as manager but of course wouldn't mind if Lennon got the job permanent. Also maybe Larsson??
