Awesome. Unrelated: Saw this on the side of that page and loved it:

God I wish there was a player like that around nowadays.

Your 200 level seats should be fine. The only questionable seats I know of are located in the last row of the 100 level, which is actually a row of folding chairs, which I got when I saw the Wings play against the Sabres last season. My seats were in section 112, row 18, and to be honest, I was upset at first, but when I realized how much more leg room I had (considering my seat was a folding chair), I was fine with it. As far as I'm concerned, there really isn't a bad seat that I've ever had at the Joe, and I've been all the way up at the top of the 200 level.

Part 2 (34-66) Zetterberg, Bertuzzi (mix), Murphy Part 3 (67-99) Schneider, Coffey (runner up), Hossa (runner up), Federov, Holmstrom All those are up there as well.

You should probably take off your rose-colored Stanley Cup shaped glasses now so you don't get as disappointed when the Hawks get bounced in the first round of the playoffs. Yeah..I'm calling it.
-
Probably but who cares?! 9 bucks to see the Wings play?! I'd likely buy tickets to a bunch of games.
-
Last year's playoff seeding wouldn't change, and according to stats from every other year since the shootout has been implemented, neither would any other year. Which is confusing as to why they would come up with this now.

Watching game 4 against the Sharks this year again because I don't remember it on account of the various shots I was taking after each Red Wings goal. Edit: yeah by about 21:13 in that video, I was hammered.
-
Lebda becomes useful on Toronto's blue line. I think that's probably the boldest prediction I can think of. Edit: and can we all agree that if we win the Cup, we want it in Detroit this time?

He can practice trying to save this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Zm6Kgw48BY

Fixed.

I'd like to see him in the Winged Wheel, as long as none of our players gets frustrated and slashes him in the mask.

While I would rather have separate arenas for both the Pistons and the Red Wings, it seems more logical economically for them to share a new arena downtown. All I really want is for the Red Wings to have a modern-ish arena to play in because while the nostalgic value of the Joe will be sad to have to let go of, our boys really need a new place to play, and more importantly, the fans need to be able to fully enjoy the experience of a game. I just still don't really like the idea of seeing Pistons s*** all over a hockey arena.
-
Looks like a rink that Coyotes fans could sell out.

I really hope everything on this list gets turned down. Most of these ideas are laughable and absurd (ex: step down overtime), or need more explanation than just one phrase (ex: crease reset rule) to let me know what they even mean by it. Personally, I've wondered if they were able to implement a goal/puck system that would work in determining goals without the use of a referee's judgment as to whether or not the puck fully crossed the goal line. Something like a chip in the center of the puck, and an invisible plane in the net for the puck to cross, that when the center of the puck breaks the plane, it is definitely all the way over the goal line. The only issue I see is if the puck was vertical after it crossed the goal line, it might not be far enough into the net to break the plane, similar to a goal we saw earlier this year... Which, by the way, if anyone can find a video of that one, I'd appreciate it. The puck was on its side and all the way over the line, but I can't remember if they called it a goal or disallowed it.

No kidding, I never thought Modano struck me as a pretentious jerk or really anything other than a class act. Probably the main reason I'm so excited to have him here. Now are you ready to work and do exactly what I tell you? Believe me, I'm ready. Then let's get to work. *CRUNCH* I'm sorry...here--here's your pinky.
-
Nah because ESPN doesn't know who Mike Modano is, or hockey in general it seems.
