I haven't worn my red and white pumas in a few weeks...maybe that's it. In all seriousness, superstition is one thing, but thinking that it's something you're doing that's causing the Wings to lose is assinine. While I like to believe that certain things factor into a playoff win, if I don't wear one of my jerseys one game and they lose, and then wear it another game and they still lose says something for my "contribution". -
I'd watch. I wouldn't catch every game, sure, but I'd like to see Hossa finally win a Cup. I'd rather see that than Pittsburgh anywhere near the treasure again. I think Boston's going to take it to them though. I predict a Vancouver/Chicago vs Boston SCF if the Wings are donezo come the end of this round.

Versus stat: Red Wings spent 12:51 of the game shorthanded. Just sayin' Red Wings do need to play their game though. Intensity since game 7 in Phoenix is completely missing.

This. I thought the Sharks outplayed us most of the game. The problem was, any time we were outplaying them, there was a penalty call soon to follow. I think it's safe to say that the only way we could have made it easier for the refs to call the game would be to give them their own set of sticks and pucks.

Even then, I could totally see him just chip the puck over the sliding goalie and then just accept the "trip" while watching the puck limp into the net.

Yeah...when they were raising their sticks thanking their fans, it kind of made me feel like an ass that we beat them so badly. Yet at the same time, those are the fans who only 5% of probably showed up to regular season games...so I didn't feel too awful. Hopefully their attendance is better next season.

Something to be positive about. But the fact that our PK is 25% isn't that incredible of a stat, however.

Also, it wasn't likely just the refs that blew the game (more like our PK unit), but if a player gets ******* cut open for some unknown reason, shouldn't it be reviewed? Just because it wasn't seen doesn't mean they should just rely on their eyes for everything. Technology was invented for a reason. This is one of those.
