Not that we should talk, but last I checked, the Rangers limped into the playoffs and got beat in 5 in round 1, and the Flyers got railed by Boston in 4 after struggling with the 7th seeded Sabres in 7 games. But yeah, let's go with two Eastern Conference teams again, one of which just had a WC two years ago...

Uh..were we watching the same series OP? The last thing i want is the Sharks to have good luck next series. I hope the Canucks run the train all over them. And then Tampa with the Cup victory.

This. Even though I kind of disagree with Chelios needing some experience. The guy played until his bones were essentially glass in comparison to other players and he's got a very hockey-oriented mind; enough of one for me to think he'd be a natural.

On the other side of the coin, I feel like Chelios would really get under our defense's skin and make some s*** happen. But yeah, I've been on the "bandwagon" since the beginning. This assclown needs to get away from us ASAP. McCrimmon's obviously not telepathically telling our defense to turn the puck over, but it's the coaching principles and ethics that are out of wack and it shows on the ice. It reared its ugly ******* head last night and hopefully the fans aren't the only ones that noticed.

This Game shouldn't be in OT. At all. We've been patting like the sharks played the first two games. We deserve this one.

For once I'm not going to be a dick and say that either of these lineups actually make sense. Maybe it's just because Dats and Zets should definitely be split up and I agree with a bunch of different combinations.

This team needs more fan support. I find your lack of faith disturbing, LGW. I'll eat my crow if we go down 3-0, but I think what a lot of people fail to see is that one good game on Wednesday and we're suddenly only down 2-1. We win again in game 4 and it's best of 3. Do I think we can win? Of course. If we play like we care, then we're even more dangerous than the almighty Sharks seem to look to everyone. I know it's hard to believe after we played like we did in games 1 and 2, but hell, if any team in the NHL can overcome a 2-0 deficit, it's the Red Wings.

Now, that being said, those are some big gaps that we need to fix, along with a hungrier drive, but if we win game 3, we're suddenly only down by one game. I don't believe from what I saw today and Friday that this is a Cup caliber team, but Jimmy Howard is playing like a Cup caliber goalie. Not sure if this .gif was at the top of page 9 because it isn't showing up for me, but I thought this was kind of dickish: Lost a little respect for Briere on that. Pretty unsportsmanlike to do that. Maybe it's just because I like Miller a lot and wish he'd be able to put on a Wings sweater someday. I feel like he'd wreck s*** here.
