Why are people offended by "swear words"?
-
Fascinating sentiment, lad. 1) How can anyone condone leaving a game early. Except emergencies, obviously. 2) I bet the wings were a real hot ticket in "the d" during the dead wang era. Self-proclaimed hockey town.
-
OP, why didn't you just move? There were plenty of other seats available..
-
You, sir, are and idiot. :/
-
Yes. (Per Hawks' Twitter)

lol. So you can sell out other arenas but not you're own? So you can afford to go to other cities, stay in hotels, pay for transportation to said cities and pay for tickets but you can't do this for your own home games? I dont get it. I don't know who you were talking to about the Kronwall hit because it was certainly as clean as you can get. Sure he left his feet a little prior to contact but Havlat had his head down and just got lit up, no ifs, ands, or buts about it. Who cares though, he plays for Minny now, so I couldn't care any less about the hit. I've been to several Hawks games where detroit sucks was chanted without detroit in town and each time we were playing the wings next.
-
You're telling me detroit would have sold out in that situation? You don't even sell out now and you're one of the best organizations/teams in the NHL. Give me a break. Last year in the playoffs, I was in the standing room area for games 3 and 4 and I was surrounded by wings fans and they were all awful hockey fans. Calling franzen holmstrom and vice versa, whining about penalties that didn't exist even though you get 6 PPs a game. You're fans are no better. And some of the knowledgable wings fans I came across last year even said that detroit still has a bandwagon problem. Comparing Chicago fans to NASHVILLE fans? That's offensive to me. Again, I guarantee you there are reasons that Hawks fans chanted detroit sucks when they weren't playing them. A) Score was probably mentioned on the scoreboard or something like that. B) Hawks may have been playing the wings in their next game.

I love how people think just because the Hawks were bad for ten years, that every fan is now a bandwagoner.
-
Yeah, what an *******. Kid works his whole life to make it to the NHL and he just got his first big contract.
-
I was just saying there were conditions to his NTC.

Brian Campbell, CHI - NTC [can provide a list of 8 teams he will accept a trade to; team has 45 days from date notice is received to trade him to any team on that list] Source: nhlscap.com

Don't hold your breath. Actually, go ahead and hold your breath.
-
The Hawks and wings have been rivals since the beginning of time. 4 cups in 12 years for the wings and a coincidental simultaneous dead era for the Hawks doesn't change that. I love how you guys think its not a rivalry now that the Hawks are competitive again.
-
Every franchise in sports has bandwagoners. There's nothing anyone can do about it.
-
No its mout. It was Chicagoese not Blackenese.
-
Stole da words right outta my mout. LOL, almost.
-
Nope I'm a Sox fan. At least they've dominated the Tigers at least in the past 10 or so years.
-
I don't want to answer for anyone but, clearly, you guys love the Hawks.
-
Indisputable but part of the game.

The vagueness of this post annoys me. edit: If you are implying that Columbus-detroit is anywhere near Chicago-detroit, then how intelligent is that?
-
Debatable.
