in terms of priority defense should be Detroit last concern. 1. can Jimmy be trusted in the playoffs? If not, and they can't rely on Osgood either then they might need to get someone, but the options aren't great. 2. Need more scoring, even with Franzen, Holmstrom, Williams coming back in time for the playoffs. 3. Defense (with a healthy Lids+Rafi+Kronwall+Stuart the defense will be fine. Plus Ericsson isn't horrible, just that 6th spot ) The only real concern is that #1, other then that I am confident in the Wings come playoff time.

in March when Franzen gets back, give him 2 weeks and you got your goal scorer. Sure he won't put up monster numbers, but when Kronwall comes back, the GAA will come down, making the difference. Lids+Rafi+Kronwall+Stuart+Ericsson will be huge. Then factor in the secondary scoring once Williams comes back, and Helm+Flip get bumped down and get to play with chepaer defense.
