they really didn't have many other choices, unless they went with Liach. They have Knuble and Morrison who could be good captains but they are relatively new to the organization and that would make less sense then OV.

there's no way Washington allows that to happen unless they get Howard. Their defense is weak after Green and so is their Goaltending, not the best combo.
