So they sold out every home game, set record merchandise sales and still lost money? I know they had some of the cheapest tickets but still....That franchise reeks of incompetence. I find it hard to believe they knew what they were doing when they built that cup team.

As for the team itself i love them all. Its like trying to pick your favorite child. As for favorite championship, 97 takes the cake. Capping off all those years prior with a cup win in that fashion was pure biblical.

I would be surprised if he did go. Seems pretty clear to me by now that he wants to play in the NHL. He already turned down multiple massive KHL contracts. He is just trying to get as much money while playing in the NHL for a contender.
