what difference does it make. According to your own post success is measured in cups. Hence, Draper is more successful/better than Crosby.

If he played great in the Olympics against the NHLs best on a NHL sized sheet of ice i think that would mean hes capable of playing in the NHL.

the only difference now is that these hits are becoming unacceptable. Most of Scott Stevens hits were like these and every one loved them back in the 90s. IMO hockey was better back then when players could take a hit and just keep playing. Now its a pissing contest even if its a clean hit.

People are way over analyzing the whole Hulder stats thing. Bottom line is he has already proven he is more than capable for producing at the NHL level.I hope to see him in a Wings jersey next year. -

He hit him high in the chest not the head. His head whipped back and hit the glass thats what KO'ed him. Whats dirty is the fact he left his feet to make a hit on Seabrook when he didnt have the puck. Not that Seabrook got hit in the head.

Those players are young and are building block/franchise players. They would never be traded for picks.

Maybe it was the obvious attempt to injure? Attempt to Injure (Match Penalty) A player who receives a match penalty is ejected. A match penalty is imposed for deliberately injuring or attempting to injure another player. If a match penalty is imposed the offending player is automatically suspended from the next game their team plays, and often face a hearing with the possibility of a lengthier ban.

I could care less if he gets suspended im just tired of every one (more than just LGW forums) calling every hit / injury in the NHL these days dirty,gutless,classless. Wheres the suspension? etc.... Hockey is a physical sport. s*** happens players get hurt. Its not always intentional.
