like you can get anything worth rebuilding a team for a 7th pick in a trade unless you want a AHL'er that will probably never play a shift in the NHL or a washed up NHL'er. You're better off just using the pick and drafting someone. -

Its pretty sad how ESPN hardly even acknowledged that one of the biggest sporting events in the world was taking place. Even when the USA almost upset arguable the greatest hockey team ever assembled twice in the same week. I think ESPN gave the winter Olympics about 10 minutes of total coverage the whole tournament. They were too busy swinging from D-Wade,Kobe and Lebron James nut sacks.

Germany- they didnt really need a goalie Russia- the way Nabby played Russia had no chance regardless of Canada's goalie Slovakia- meh you may have a point. Neither Brodeur or Luongo look amazing but Brodeur kept over playing the puck and turned it over A LOT which led to goals being scored on Canada. I think that was the major reason he was benched.

no kidding thats what every one was afraid of. Before the game they zoomed in on the USA captain the talked a little about him then they went to Crosby and said how team Canada was "Led by Crosby" like he was their captain. He wasnt even a assistance for that game. I dont even think they acknowledged who Canadas captain actually was. Pretty sad.

i think 90% of this board wanted Russia to destroy Canada but im pretty sure most were expecting a close game.

sadly i can pretty much guarantee it will have little impact if any in getting more Americans involved in hockey.
