Miettinen head snaps back when the purple shoulder patch is right next to his head. Which makes it look like he got hit in the head with a shoulder. From this picture it looks like Brown is about to hit him in the head with a shoulder. Cant even tell if contact was made yet. Even if Brown did catch a little piece of his shoulder he still hit Miettinen in the side of the head but what ever.

Watch from the 1 min mark. Its a much better angle. Brown at most brushed the jersey on Miettinen shoulder before hitting him in the side of the head.

Watch the video leading up to the screenshot its pretty obvious... "a lateral, back-pressure or blind-side hit to an opponent where the head is targeted and/or the principal point of contact."
