Our scouting is world class. It sets the bar for the entire league. But, do we have any history of signing players that have crapped out with other teams and they have found success with us? I can't really think of any. Dallas Drake comes to mind, but that is more of a "last chance" not a second chance. Larionov and Fetisov I don't really think fit the bill either.

Yeah, I am very happy to hear that he and his son are ok. I just think that "a little drowsy" in qoutes like that leads the reader to automatically think alcohol was involved. I highly doubt it with his son in the car.

After the unreal amount of injuries last season I can kind of understand Kenny's thinking. A 4-time Champ who can draw penalties could be seen as a valuable call up especially during the playoffs. I mean, San Jose even signed The Turtle didn't they? If a 2 way can be had on the cheap I'm all for it. Don't know what the die hard Griffin fans think, but I would imagine they would love it.

No contraction needed. Every 10 years the bottom 5 teams in revenue just move. The "Carousel rule". It ends all the drama. Plus, every city lobbying for a team will eventually have one. What the hell.
