GDT's. My drug of choice. How I missed thee. I love the s***sburgh lineup and I love that we scratched a few "regs" to let the young guns experience "The Best" that the league has to offer. Maybe (hopefully), the young guys will experience some "Crysbyness" and develop a bad taste in their mouths for s***sburgh for when they become our regs. Look at our scratches, they are guys who already have that nasty taste in their mouths. If crysby goes all out leader, the only way he knows how to, to right his ship, then - mission accomplished! Living in the cesspool that is C-bus, I have heard that opening music so many times. I love it, but, the problem is that it all too often it becomes the most adrenalin pumping moment of the game. The entrance. I would like for a Red Wing hat trick that they would play Cypress Hill, Insane in the brain.They are so few and far between these days. On a side note, I would prefer an entire season of balanced high scoring than a bunch of hat tricks by 1 or 2 players.

Agree. After the '97 Cup Scotty said "We got a little less pretty and a little more gritty", or words to that effect. I think that right NOW, we are pretty enough, if we can get a little gritty, then we are golden. Especially in the east.

This thread is full of s***. Everytime I come to this site all you guys do is talk about Red Wings this, Red Wings that. Hockey must be pretty f'ing popular. Nobody talks about how Angelina Jolie is too skinny, how Oprah is too fat, just hockey, hockey, hockey. LOL. Here in columbus, my friends think it's odd that where I grew up in MI every driveway had a goalie net in it like the driveways here have basketball nets. Our Gordie is their Archie. Strange since we are so close to eachother. Like a previous poster stated outside of MI and Min hockey is down the chain.

Because of his short time in NA he is deemed "high risk, high reward" when you talk 3-4 mil per year. Something however, tells me that he may not be as high risk as some may think. I don't know, talking out my ass. Just think he is worth a little extra if need be. My perfect scenario, as with others is 2.5-3 mil per year for 2 years.
