Thank you! Tis mine as well. If anyone would like a larger or smaller version of it depending on their resolution then let me know. Wouldn't take too long to edit the size.

Little thing I was working on (since I was finally able to get a hand on a high res pic of Howard maskless). Let me know what you think.

Keith was better and deserves it. Doughty should be second (he was not as good defensively as Keith but was incredibly flashy and is noticed every time he is on the ice), with either Lidstrom or Pronger (maybe) as third. Green's offense on a purely offensive team does not deserve a mention at all.
-
Do I even want to watch the Sharks game?
-
The voting is already made. The top 3 vote getters are always given before the playoffs end.
-
He refused to sign a flag (a Canadian one btw) and was asked if he has a pen. If you want him to sign something, you should have a pen ready.
-
I think it is a pretty dick move (the pregame ritual is crap considering he could have stopped right next to the kid without snowing him) but it was funny nonetheless. I only wish it was Crosby so the hate could rain down on him from these forums for having no regard to the people on the ice.
-
Sure he is. We have defensive players for the PK and late game situations. What we don't have is depth scoring.
-
Loving your vocabulary.
-
Based on?
-
Why would he bother dealing with the arbitration issue if he could get rid of him for draft picks? Oh that's right, because he understands that keeping players who know the system and were raised in the system is much better than bringing in some pluggers who can't even bring the same offensive game. Kenny is going to take Hudler and neither Armstrong or Clarkson will be on the roster next season. You can book it here.
-
Considering Kenny Holland has made a career out of regular season and playoff success, I'll take his opinion on the matter over some nobody who thinks a low scoring forward who is "physical" can do better than Jiri Hudler.
-
It's going to be fun watching you guys squirm next season with Hudler back in the lineup.
-
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sfHeKwMR9EY You are right, Hudler has never been clutch in the playoffs. My point is those guys can play defense without worrying about being so "soff". A "healthy" Cleary has never had more points in a season than Hudler has. Not one time. What makes you think he is going to start now? On the downswing of his career? With a cushy contract to sit on?
-
Oh geez. How much physicality do you honestly think comes out of playing defense? Lidstrom is a top-5 defender EVER and has barely been physical. Datsyuk defends by takeaways. Zetterberg is one of Detroit's best shutdown players. Cleary is more of a grinder than anyone on the team. Also Armstrong had 40 points in one year. What happened when Kovalchuk left? 11 fewer points and 7 less goals. Man what a player. David Clarkson? What made you think he was better all around? His +/- is deplorable in comparison to Hudler's while playing in front of a much better regular season goaltender. Since when did physicality become necessary for a player to be successful in a puck possession system? Unless we are selecting Armstrong for a 4th line role guy at 1 mil, which I would have no problem lift.
-
With who? His best years were with Sidney Crosby and Ilya Kovalchuk as his linemates. At a whopping 40 points each year. He isn't going to get those same caliber teammates.
-
I doubt it. His best chance for that was in 08 when him and Datsyuk were on fire. He is a playoff performer.
-
Really? Stacked? He scored most of his goals at even strength and had less than half of his points on the powerplay. With such little time who even cares? Our powerplay could use a guy like Hudler. And who could Detroit pick up at 2.75 or less that would be more valuable than Hudler?
-
I would say it is pretty likely considering he has improved since he started in the NHL. The hate is strong in this thread. Wow. Of all the posts in this thread... You think Jiri Hudler, who has steadily improved over his career with the Red Wings, earned a Stanley Cup, and scored 57 points last season while on the THIRD LINE, is comparable to Ville Leino, who had a whopping 16 points in 55 games and showed ZERO signs of competitiveness and improvement during his short stay? Good grief.

The mics are very low for the FSN broadcast. I watched the game on TSN and the Joe was absolutely rocking.
-
God dammit my feed is so delayed.

Heatley seemed to be injected with the "I can't perform in the playoffs" virus the Sharks are currently suffering from.
