Three nipples, actually.

Perhaps when I'm finished designing this parking lot.

Poker is my game. Oh but I did.

As long as he has Lilja as his defensive partner.

Does anyone really stop to contemplate how big Franzen is? Seriously, watching him in warm-ups is like watching Goliath reincarnate.
-
Hooray! Now lets see if he can do that a SECOND time!
-
Watching Lidstrom take that puck in and seeing Holmstrom basically unopposed I knew he was going to score. Amazing.
-
Just to let you guys know I am the reason Franzen played so well tonight. I was in the front row and was wearing my "FEED THE MULE" shirt and told my friend that Franzen was going to score two tonight. He did. Also here is me after Franzen scores:

That Darren McCary was a tough guy...

Filppula following similar path to Datsyuk...?
Doc Holliday replied to Aussie_Wing's topic in General
You don't win puck battles against Pavel Datsyuk. You only hope to extend the amount of time you have the puck before he takes it away from you. -
"One of the sickest moves I've ever seen!"

It's the "Crosby complex" regardless. Someone gives Crosby props for a good shootout move (albeit over the top) and there just HAS to be a thread talking about it. -
You don't like Panger? Get the f*** out.

What other teams think of facing us in round 1
Doc Holliday replied to RedWingsRox's topic in General
He is still a proven goaltender. Howard has had ZERO playoff experience and it is unknown how well he will perform in that role. Sometimes I wonder about this board. -
Don't forget to be home by 10.

This sounds more like jealousy on your part to me. Argue the points, not the poster. If you feel like EZ making it a point to mention he played upper levels of hockey, then don't address it. That will make things much easier.
-
Uhh what? Maybe I'm thinking of a different arctic pond but there is no chance that place holds 2-4 thousand. Nvm: either way I really don't think it matters what level of hockey you played at as long as you make the points. So how about we drop it? Okay?

Does babcock have a shot at the Jack Adams Award

http://www.forbes.com/lists/2009/31/hockey-values-09_Nashville-Predators_310472.html They were the 27th most valuable team last year. They are not a powder keg of business. -

Filppula following similar path to Datsyuk...?
Doc Holliday replied to Aussie_Wing's topic in General
Filpulla is constantly improving, which is huge. That said, Datsyuk learned from guys like Hull, Yzerman, Fedorov, Larionov, etc. his rookie year. That is huge on a player's development. Also Datsyuk when it comes to skills with the puck is bar none the best in the NHL. Filppula will never be close to that level. He may be crafty with the puck and be able to bring consistent offense to the team in a year or two, but he will not be a Datsyuk. -

He has no chance. Tippet and Sacco have had much more "wow" years than he has with less talent(when you have Zetterberg, Datsyuk, Lidstrom, Rafalski, and Franzen on your team your team should be a lock to make the playoffs) and the wow factor always wins out. The thing is why doesn't Trotz get any mention? The guy brings a winning team almost every year and they are never close to the cap hit. -
Then maybe the size of the players and the PADDING is a problem... Seriously what use is the plastic on the shoulder pads other than making a body check hurt a bit less?
-
It was meant as a joking remark to imply Kovalchuk is nowhere near as good as Hudler. At second read it doesn't provide the same amount of zing that I thought it would. Swing and a miss on my part.
-
That's pretty insulting to Hudler, man.
-
Did Howie ever drop his blocker/glove?
-
Some people really can't. Yzerman forbid we focus on the positives of the team instead of focus on bashing a goaltender who has helped this team win two cups and is the winningest in its history.
