Looking forward to seeing how this kid does in the playoffs.

Can Jedi do a magic trick? Also: That is Detroit in a single picture the past few games. Buffalo, Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver have experienced it.

Am I the only one who finds this ridiculous ?
Doc Holliday replied to interminded's topic in General
Considering he only scored on Osgood three times in the both series I'm not worried. And also considering Osgood won't be playing in the Pittsburgh game I'm not worried. Osgood will likely play a game against Columbus when the Wings have enough breathing room to where they can afford to lose a game. And the Jackets are awful against Detroit. -
Are you kidding, Lids? ARE YOU KIDDING ME ZETTERBERG!?!!?!?!?!?!??!?1 :siren: :siren:

BERTUZZI STOP PASSING THE PUCK GOD DAMN YOU
-
In Western freaking Canada.
-
Wow that shot almost beat Howard.
-
Miller stay in front of the ******* net. There are no goals to be scored behind it.
-
Can anyone tell me why Helm decided to act like a human kite instead of block the shot on that second goal? How useless can you be when you are in that position?
-
He said you are grasping at straws.
-
I give up.
-
That sounds about right.

If the guy is so arrogant as to demand a roster spot without even playing a North American game then I don't want him. We already lost Leino because he would not go back down to GR and work on his game. Why bother wasting effort on a guy who would at the most play in GR for one year and possibly not be ready for the NHL yet? The guy knows how small he is, yet he expects to be a consistent starting player? Come on, guy.

Wings Transactions You Loved Which Unfortunately Failed
Doc Holliday replied to GMRwings1983's topic in General
Calm down, tiger. Hossa scored 40 goals in the regular season, and injury or not, he did no perform up to par in the playoffs. Period. That is disappointing. Datsyuk has gotten plenty of flak from posters (considering I have seen him labeled as a playoff no show) but this isn't about drafted players who have been on the team for a good amount of time. This is about transactions that we loved that unfortunately failed. Hossa not winning a cup and only scoring in 3 games all series is a failure, whether it was because of the injury or not. -
I don't blame him either. It was a horrible hit and he should have known he could cause serious injury.

Wings Transactions You Loved Which Unfortunately Failed

2003 playoffs: 4 GP, 0 W, 2.08 GAA, .917 Sv% 2004 playoffs: 9 GP, 4 W, 1.39 GAA, .939 Sv% Hossa was a player I was so excited for, and his play in the regular season was amazing. When it came to the playoffs, he was a real disappointment, and with him playing to his potential the Wings would be Stanley Cup champs. -
I'm not a Crosby slappy. The suspension was ridiculous but all three had the same opportunity to go to Montreal.
-
He apologized to Drapes and was apparently told to f*** off.
-
Because Datsyuk and Lidstrom weren't given the same opportunity Crosby was for the All-Star game?

Will the Top Team in the West Purposely Lose to Avoid Playing Detroit?
Doc Holliday replied to a topic in General
I hope so. If they spend time trying to "1st seed tank" and end up playing the Wings anyway that will be horrible for their energy come playoff time. They won't, but it would be nice if they did. -
Teams that Should Have Never Changed their Jerseys
Doc Holliday replied to GMRwings1983's topic in General
The rbk cut leaves less room for the logo which causes the wing to hit the space where the C/A should be. It is a terrible jersey design. If they were so worried about sweat why not use the same material in the old CCM cuts? Those jerseys were so much better. -
Wasn't Cooke wearing a visor for that fight?
-
CCM is betterrrr.
