Raffy was great tonight, though those goals of him were pretty weak. Tip by Crosby on the first. Then a whiff on the second that went through non-butterfly Brodeur. That said, he played amazing tonight and was the best defenseman on the ice for both teams. Where has this guy been?

I have never seen someone "beat up" because of a locker box fight. Guys don't hit when the other is down. They don't go nuts on each other. It is fun, it is good for bonding, and the guys respect each other and don't try to hurt each other. To understand you would have to be in this situation, and I don't believe you have as a female.

What the hell is wrong with locker boxing? We did that all the time in high-school. Nobody got hurt, and it was a good bonding experience. Besides, helmets are supposed to protect the head anyway, so I bet Bauer, RBK, CCM, and Nike all appreciate the research done by these amateur athletes.

I don't see why not. He is the veteran and the only way he should lose his captaincy is if he is off the team. Nobody else on the team (save Osgood, Draper, and Malts who don't have even close to the same talent and affect on the team) has been through as much as he has with the Detroit Red Wings. He is the Captain till his nameplate is removed from his locker. Also considering everyone and their mothers knows that Zetterberg is being groomed for the part anyways it's not like the team is having questions who is going to lead them next. Unless there are other, younger, options that would be better suited for the position (personally I don't think Wings management is ready to step down from the "seniority" ideal considering the last time they had such a young captain the team was scraping lottery picks).

OV doesn't have an ego. His "hot stick" routine was the only time in his career he has hot-dogged.
