My point is the Canadians dominated the game but didn't get any scoring until the second where they just lit it up. There is plenty of time for the Russians to destroy Latvia on the scoreboard.

Strange that I have not gotten defensive, jumpy, or paranoid once. I am simply stating my own opinion in this thread, without insulting you, attacking your credibility or voicing any type of frustration whatsoever. We both can respectively disagree on issues when the "X fan" or "X slappie" or "X hater" is removed from the equation. Not even close to a comparison as yours.

There shouldn't HAVE to be 30 players marketed just because there are 30 teams. If a team doesn't have a player that can be easily marketed then they shouldn't just to give every team the attention. Ovechkin, Crosby, Thornton+Heatley, Gaborik, Luongo, Getzlaf, Datsyuk, etc. are some of the players who should be marketed more (NHL is getting progressively better) but not every team. The attention on Crosby creates probably 80% of the disdain for him (I like to see him fail for that reason) and I think if it was spread around more the casual fan would know more than one or two players who play hockey.

The only time you see Crosby and Malkin together is on the powerplay, and they are normally skating back and forth from their own zone. Exciting....

Words cannot describe what it will be like to see those two in action.

Crosby was in an interview (because we all know how quickly the media must know Crosby's reaction for anything) and shook the hands of the remaining players who waited afterwards. You could go as far to say that the Wings didn't wait long enough for the Penguins to celebrate.

The bold right there is stating something objectionable about the guy. And calling someone out for having "Osgood blinders" is calling them a homer. I never said Outsiders stats were factual. I never have once made fun of Eva for his statistics, only made a light-hearted jab at his love for Hudler. All I said is that clutchngrab was using an ad hom attack. "You are homer so you are skewing the numbers" is ridiculous. If he had simply said "you are pulling those out of your ass" I would have not even bothered to press the reply button. But using someone's "homerism" as the sole reason to attack a premise is plain silly. Also I don't think the rebound control problem is a huge problem, but I do think he needs to work on it. The Wings had a 2-0 lead in the series and pissed it away (in fact they choked on the powerplay when Jordan Staal scored that breakaway goal on Osgood). Then they had a 3-2 lead and pissed that away as well. That is choking in a nutshell.

You said his blinders skew his numbers, which is using his "bias" as the sole reason you are knocking down his argument. Person 1 makes claim X (Outsider says that there are x shots extra faced on Howard because of his poor rebound control) There is something objectionable about Person 1 (He is a "homer") Therefore claim X is false (You say that his numbers are skewed)
