You are kidding me, right? Howard was a big reason Detroit was even in this game. Probably the only reason. Fil needs to look up the definition of "net." Defense needs to tighten up. Offense needs to do something. Howard deserves a vacation when this season is over if this is how the rest of it is going to play out.

I found this after looking for some high-res pictures for a background, and I have to say I think it is funny that Stuart of all people is going after the beach ball since he has been swiping away countless stray pucks from behind both Howard and Osgood this season.

No they didn't. They lost off a BS penalty shot in the last minute of play. They were embarrassed the next game in Chicago just before the playoffs.

Yup. They have some of my favorite fans in the business, a great announcing duo, and likeable players. Would have no problem seeing them hoist Stanley's Chalice in June.

Really? Cause you know exactly what would have happened? Howard had a great game and earned the start against Pittsburgh without a doubt. Hopefully Babs won't tire him out again.

I thought it was about results? The defense has s*** the bed the last few games and has lost almost all of those games, so wouldn't it make sense that the defensive breakdowns are what is losing the game and not the goaltending? I have no problem with Howard starting the next few but you put so much emphasis on the goaltending as if it is what is winning and losing the games when that isn't the truth. The team needs to play better defensively before either Howard or Osgood get some wins together. So "better chance" or not it isn't going to show results depending on which goaltender is out there, unless Howard brings another LA game to the table (which is why I said he should start more because he is more likely to pull of that game considering how the season has played out).
