One of his biggest slappies, but no. Osgood was a very good to great (post-lockout) goaltender who ended up being as stable as he could be in front of a world class hockey team. He was never a world beater with Detroit. He was waived for a better goaltender from Detroit. He is not a legend by any stretch. He is simply an underdog fan favorite who was able to ****** more success than any current goaltender in the league. The only one who is deserving of his number in the rafters right now is Nick. Not even 91, 13, or 40 are there.
