This is a post that happens when a North American who cannot stand the Euro game gets a chance to really complain about it. Stuart and Rafalski haven't been that great, tonight. Neither has Bertuzzi or Abdelkader.

Do you honestly think Jimmy is at the same level (or even close to it) he was last season? That first goal he had no concept of where he was in relation to the net. He is giving way too much space glove side.

Kopecky getting his face smashed in actually turned that series around for Detroit in a way. Also, Kopecky is garbage. Eva is sinking to new lows by defending his play.

It won't be a game. It will be an outdoor Penguins practice which will highlight the wonderful plays by Crosby over his career. Center ice will feature Crosby's face and it will be renamed "The Crosby Classic".

I'm not saying Franzen is playing the way he should. I'm just saying it's not like he is invisible. Goal scorers are streaky. In an 82 game season guys like Franzen are going to have cold streaks. Just happens. -

I have to say I think Franzen is going to have the quietest 30+ goal season we have seen in awhile. Even when he scores he gets railed on these boards. -

We honestly don't care for your input unless you actually post something semi-intelligent. Going ouch (your motives are quite transparent) doesn't exactly endear you as a poster who wants any kind of meaningful discussion. -

Going down 3-0 early in the third isn't going to spark the offense. If the game starts 0-0 or even 1-0 at the start of the third the team can feel good about their performance in the first 40 minutes. There was still 20 minutes. Remember the Blues game where they scored 4 in the third? Once they put themselves in a 3-0 hole they pretty much screwed themselves out of a comeback. -

Yes, because letting in 5 goals, most of them softies, is excused by poor offense. It's not like Howard let in 2 goals. He let in 5 and at some of the worst times. You can't gloss over that fact. -

The offense is going to try and force things too much if they go down early. Howard killed the team's momentum, especially after Helm couldn't get the ******* puck up on a great rebound chance. -

Howard laying eggs out there. Holmstrom can't get it up. Helm can't get it up. Our 2 on 1s aren't even getting results. What a joke. -
Detroit lost the last game against Philly due to Osgood's poor goaltending. The next game they won. Philly has not won in the Joe since the mid 90s. What makes you think they "bully" us out of anything?
