Good game so far. Can't say these lines are great until we play a team that isn't completely useless at playing hockey.

How many games has he played? Oh right, 11. For the record I never said Hudler was doing respectable or good. That is you trying to twist my argument so you can attempt to refute it. My entire point is Hudler is not going to be traded based on so few games. His value isn't determined based on that either, despite you two trying your damnedest to say such about the "soft, heartless Euro". That is the delusion.

Oh please. It's not like Stuart thread a needle on that or that Hudler had all the time in the world to make the shot. Your assertion that Hudler's heart isn't in it is based on what? Yes, becasue the mass majority is overrating him, and 2.8 million is overpaid for a guy who can poentially score 60-70 points. What a joke of a contract. Holland should have asked LGW first.

There is a reason he scored the game winner in game 4 of the 2008 Stanley Cup Finals. He has offensive flair, and has shown it in the past. No way is Holland going to trade him or get rid of him based on one (or even 13 games). Don't be delusional.

Washington and Pittsburgh had a rivalry before the two were drafted. I would have loved to see an "Team Yzerman" vs. "Team Sakic" game. Two of the best captains of their time, on arguably the two most dominant teams of the time, with the greatest rivalry in the league at that time.

I don't really mind Hudler getting top 6 minutes, but why scratch Eaves? He's been the most consistent bottom 6 guy this season.

The difference is that Franzen has been proven to score in bursts the last couple years. Hudler has been gone for a year. We don't know how he is going to play after being away from the NHL. As of right now it isn't looking good with him being unable to score a goal, yet.

If you are implying Bourque chose to go to Colorado, he was traded. His GM insisted it was the best choice for him to win a cup.
