Great game by Howard. Franzen doing what he does best: scoring. BFF line is amazing. Datsyuk and Zetterberg up to their old tricks. Third line awful. Osgood was pretty weak on the faceoff charts tonight. I expect better from him.

That isn't true. The team was bought therefore the rights to that logo were also bought. The only reason they changed everything was to create a new identity and because the majority of Ducks fans wanted a change.

Doan has been suspended for three games. Joke of a suspension, but I can't stand Doan's "I'm going to go out of my way to hit anyone no matter if they have possession of the puck or not" game.

If Kopecky had any kind of natural offensive ability he would have possibly twice a many points. I lost track of how many offensive chances he single-handedly screwed up in the Hawks-Wings game.

I was contesting the idea that Eaves should be put on the top line regularly. That does not make sense considering Holmstrom is only useful at this point on a line with either Datsyuk or Zetterberg. Like I said, one game doesn't make a player.

It will be interesting to see what clever names they will try to come up with when Osgood retires. Howbad? Mccollusucks? Larssucks?

So having one good game and being part of a goal that his line-mate created by himself justifies the sentiment that he should be put on the first line? Kopecky ******* had a goal his first game with Datsyuk and Hossa.

You can critique a players performance but to project how he is going to be overall after 5 games is moronic.

Jimmy played great. Awesome bounce back game. Stuart missed his assignment on the Phoenix goal. Lidstrom looked pretty good. Third line is still useless. Our powerplay is abysmal. Yandle, Fiddler, and Jovonawfski are little ******* *******. Osgood did really well on the faceoff chart tonight.

Can't get much cleaner than that. With the speed, angle of the hit, and the fact Comeau's helmet flew off, I'm not going to go mental on the ref for calling it a hit to the head. Bad call, but we are all human.
