I heard another one this morning coming home from work To Bruins: Jason Spezza and Sens 1st round pick (18th) and a 2nd or 3rd round pick To Sens : Bos 2nd overall pick, and someone for a salary dump So bruins get Spezza,18th pick so they would go 17,18 and either a 2nd or 3rd round pick

ya ive been keeping a eye on him all season, people are saying his size could stop him from going earlier, before the playoff run he was ranked like 43, most mock drafts ive seen have him going anywhere from 15-26 fingers crossed i guess !

Which Rookie has the best chance at cracking the line-up next season?.

Id like to see Tatar step up good speed, great hands and scoring touch. If cap goes up by 2 mill this line-up puts us just under i think Franzen-Zetterberg-Holmstrom Hudler-Datsyuk-Bertuzzi Cleary-Filppula-Tatar Burish-Abdelkader-Helm Draper Lidstrom-Rafalski Kronwall-Stuart Lilja-Ericcson Kindl -
My dad is a Bruins fan and we were talking about this the other day what if the Bruins trade down #2 for #3 in a trade To Bruins- #3 pick and Nathan Horton, that would give the Bruins more Offense, and Nate wants traded anyway. Then you take Cam Fowler, Chara is a FA next season let his big contract walk and sign someone else cheaper and then Fowler could step in. To Panthers- #2 pick, Bruins 2nd round pick and say like Michael Ryder or someone like that

Bertuzzi states he will either stay with wings or retire
king_malice replied to Lidstrom for life's topic in General
true but if Eaves stays we could run PK1 Zetterberg-Cleary PK2 Eaves/Abdelkader-Helm Abby is a good shot blocker if he could learn to close out lanes that wouldnt be to bad -

Id rather have Bertuzzi then Miller, Abdelkader i thought would get a small raise and Helm for sure deserves one. There is nothing Miller does that Ritola cant in my opinion so why not just save the money from Miller. Franzen-Zetterberg-Holmstrom Hudler-Datsyuk-Bertuzzi Cleary-Filppula-Ritola Eaves/UFA-Abdelkader-Helm Draper Stuart-Rafalski Kronwall-Lidstrom UFA-Ericcson Kindl -
I just heard Gm's were complaining about to many Shootouts so the league told them to come up with a few ideas.......and guess who had the best ?...thats right Kenny boy, he said that teams are fine with sitting back and going to shootout instead of playing for the win in OT so his idea was. go from 5min OT to either 8 or 10 min OT if 8 play 4min of it 4-4 and the last 4min 3-3 and if 10 play 5min of it 4-4 and the last 5min 3-3 i personally like this idea, or even just right to 3-3 OT instead of the 4-4

i think for his price and how he plays when healthy Carlo Coliacovo would be a great pick decent size hits hard and good with the puck.made slightly more then Lilja this season. He has had alot of injuries but knee on knee not much u can do. Carlo Colaiacovo(67GP 32PTS +8) 26 STL $1,400,000 (FIGHT)theres some vids of him

i heard a few weeks back Boston was thinking about making a deal with oilers for the #1 pick so the Bruins would have 1&2 they said it would be something like To Oilers- Bruins 1st round pick (not the leafs one) Bruins 2nd round pick Leafs 2nd round pick Bruins 1st round pick (2011) David Krecji (79GP 59PTS) To Bruins- Oilers 1st overall pick Andrew Cogliano(82GP 28PTS) now if i was the Oilers i think i might take this deal, you get a guy like Krecji,2 1st rounders and 2 2nd rounders, and who knows they might be able to get that 2011 1st round Leafs pick to. Dont know if this would actually happen but the Bruins defintly have alot of picks to play with in any deal

dont forget Raffi has a NTC to and isnt he from Mich? i just cant see then trading him knowing that this could be Lids last year, and if Lids retires next season and Johnson doesnt re-sign there we would have alot of money to play with and there are alot of good D available next season.
-
i just think trading Rafalski is a bad idea and Kindl, ok you get Johnson in return but after next season if Lids retires who do we have.... Johnson-Kronwall Stuart-Ericcson ?-? we would have the 7 mill to offer Johnson not saying thats what it would cost to get him but Lids contract will more then likely be spent on getting a D. at least if we sign him we have something like Rafalski-Johnson Kronwall-Stuart Ericcson-Kindl/?
-
why not just wait til next season, hopefully kovy signs there this season, then next season they have to re-sign jack johnson drew doughty wayne simmons john bernier and a few other guys who will all want more money, if lids retires we might be able to nab johnson then for nothing but dollars

With Yzerman in Tampa, would he trade with Detroit?
king_malice replied to Red Storm's topic in General
Never....We do not have the Cap space to take on that contract and would have to give up to much to get him -
100% the Bruins want Hall , he wears #4 because his fav all time player was Bobby Orr, his agent is Bobby Orr and Hall has said he would love to play for the Bruins.

I totally agree i think guys like Helm and Abby it was good for it let them complete there game at both ends, but Tatar is a sniper and you can only get so much better playing against other AHL guys, then you have to step up and run with the big dogs. whats that saying something about if you wanna be the best.......well i think that applies to Tatar, i might say one more season in the AHL if he cant make it this year is fine but next season i think its time to get him in young. Thats really the only problem i have with the Wings, letting guys stay in the AHL to long -

I just hope Tatar doesnt come in and rip it up in pre-season and then gets sent back down probably will kill his confidence in himself. -
