I think the only guy that deserves a raise is Helm to be honest, he has pretty much been our most consistant player for the last 2 seasons, i just wish Datsyuk would work with him, with his speed and some better hands i could only imagine the points he could put up. Miller and Maltby can both go i would rather let Abby get the time and chance to play full time Bertuzzi and Williams could both walk 3mill between the two of them. There are alot of good UFA/RFA coming up this off-season

I actually think big Nick will take a big pay cut, say he has 1-3 years left in him he has a shiiit load of money already, he has said before he doesn't play for the money but for the love of the game. So with that in mind if say Holland asked him do you want your 7.5mill for the next 3 years or would you be willing to sign in the 3-4mill range and contend for the cup the next 3 years knowing the wings could use that extra money and go sign another scorer/goalie. I think he would do that for himself and the team.

No matter what you won't find a guy like Hudler to sign in the off-season 06-07 25pts/07-08 42pts/08-09 57pts and to top it all in 3 seasons he only missed 7 games and this year in the KHL he has 52pts in 53gp i know its the KHL but still. Lets not forget about the chemistry he will already have with this team it would take him what 5-10 games to get it back instead of someone new in the 10-20 game range. Plus who says with the money we could potentially have this off-season we can't have Hudler and a couple other.

I agree with the turning his back on us part but come on you can't honestly say if you were making 1.15mill and got offered 10mill you wouldn't take it? he is young and made a mistake he probably regretted it right after he left. Babcock said it best when Hudler first left "he's young and money talks".

I think they will keep Williams over Miller just because he is a better goal scorer but hopefully Abby comes up in Millers place. I actually think minus how soft he is this season Bertuzzi has played pretty well saying all the injuries.

Ever since the whole Moore thing Bertuzzi has lost everything he is softer then Lebda. It makes me so mad seeing this guy play now compared to the pre-moore days he would hit everything,fight, take the puck hard to the net. Now its drop passes and turnovers.

I hope we don't see Lebda instead of Ericsson, sure Ericsson hasn't had that great of a year but let's not forget Lebda has been playing D alot longer then Ericsson has and Ericsson is playing just as good as Lebda was if not a little better. Not to mention i would rather let Ericsson continue to get experience by playing, plus Ericsson adds size to the back end he might not always take the body but he doesn't get pushed around as easily as lil Lebda does.
