ya i dont know what happened i posted it this afternoon before i left but it didnt actually post until tonight

Hey guys after last nights tough loss I started thinking of some of the changes i'd like to see next season and would like to see in your guys opinion where you think the changes should be, to me these are the guys i would like to see go. I don't know about you guys but i would like to see some young guys get in the line-up like Murisak and Tatar hopefully they can show up in training camp and make the roster. No need to get all crazy with comments, i just want to see what you guys think the plan should be this off-season, thanks guys (all free agents anyway) Draper Eaves Salei Osgood MacDonald Modano(although never really got his chance with the injury this season) I think Draper should retire and i like the thought of either replacing him on the 4th line with either Miller or Murisak, we defintly need a better back-up goalie for next season, also someone better then Salei on the back end. Possible G Conklin Turco Hedberg Possible D Babchuk Pardy O'brien Possible F Smithson Kopecky Laich maybe something like Hudler-Datsyuk-Franzen Bertuzzi-Filppula-Zetterberg Holmstrom-?-Tatar Murisak-Abdelkader-Helm Miller Lidstrom-Kronwall Stuart-Rafalski Ericcson-? Ya the first bit of the highlights is pretty bad with the clebrating clips i just skipped forward in it , lol they should have just left that part out or put it at the end

Just watching a good movie ive seen it before and it never gets old, Net Worth its about the Wings back in the day when Terrible Ted started up NHLPA,if you havent seen it i suggest you check it out. It just got me thinking if there is anyone who knows any other good movies about the Wings or Documentaries about them

Well Holland did say that if the losing continued and goals kept going in he would look to make some moves/ get some help. I was really hoping they were going to pick up Conklin today

I don't know about trading Huds either he is playing great right now, parting with a 1st round pick for Bogosian i would do in a heart beat, its going to be a late pick anyway and the odds of getting a guy as good as Bogosian at his age is pretty slim, but if Kenny says no to the trade then i guess its no, but i bet if the Wings lose again tonight , Holland will think about making some sort of deal for a D

On the face of it, Rafalski could appear untouchable. With 34 points and a plus-10 rating, he's been one of the more consistently strong players in Detroit this season. That's exactly why he'd be worth a ton for a team looking to add a three-time Stanley Cup winner to their blue-line. In fact, as the Buffalo Sabres are suddenly with in striking distance of a playoff spot, trading Jordan Leopold and a prospect, or perhaps a second-round pick, to the Wings in exchange for Rafalski might be a move worth making. Not only could it work in the short-term, but clearing Rafalski's $6 million salary from the books and re-investing that over the summer could be an added bonus. thats just one i can remember reading ive also seen it on another site and heard it on a sports show on the radio thats just a little article suggesting it so i dont know if thats where the rumors started but i have heard and read them elsewhere ( several months ago )

has anyone else heard this rumor ? To BUF : Rafalski To DET: Leopold, 2nd Round pick saves about 3mill cap space, almost the same offensive output this season, and Leopold is a little bigger Also rumors of the Devils listening to offers on moving Parise to save CAP space. How about sending them the same sort of package they got Kovy for, or a prospect and a couple of picks. I would 100% give up a 1st and 2nd for Parise still really young and a offenssive machine. I agree, but you think if your Holland knowing this could be guys like (Draper,Lids,Modano) last year he might try and add a little something extra to try and get them 1 last cup. Like ive said before I don't like Salei at all and think there are defintly better reasonable options out there

How about a deal with the Bolts ? Wings I think could use some more help on D and ive heard and read the Bolts might be looking to deal a D since getting Brewer, The guys rumored being moved are Brett Clark, Matt Smaby and maybe Mattias Ohlund, I personally like Clark who currently has 8G 14A and a +1 and cap hit is around 1.5

The Salei comment isn't just by the numbers, i watch every Wings game im sure like alot of you guys, and I find he plays almost the same style as Lebda, Salei may be a little better on D but very little, I would love for Kenny to bring in someone else let Kindl go back to GR full-time and let Salei fill in for injuries

To me Salei has to go , he is Euro Brett Lebda almost the same PTS and +/- they both get pushed around infront of the net and in the corners

With the Wings only scoring 4 goals in the last 4 games, is it time to give the other Filppula a chance. Guys like Emmerton,Tatar,Murisak all coming up and getting a chance. I don't see any problem with giving him a shot what do we have to lose at this point. He's had 49 games to get a feel for the North American style game and has 18G and 21A also has 7PPG, I haven't had to many chances to see him play but what i have seen i like, what are you guys thoughts ? Zetterberg-Datsyuk-Holmstrom Franzen-Filppula-Bertuzzi Cleary-Hudler-Filppula Eaves-Abdelkader-Helm Also Holland has said multiple times that Brendan Smith is ready to play in the NHL now and with Kindl struggling big time he is another guy i would like to see get a shot right now. I say we take advantage of the Sens cleaning of the house and try and make a deal for To DET-Matt Carkner,Chris Neil To OTT-2nd round pick,conditional pick,Drew Miller,Ruslan Salei( just to open Cap space then Sens can keep them the season and then they will come off the books) Both guys will add size and toughness both things the Wings could use more of Zetterberg-Datsyuk-Holmstrom Franzen-Filppula-Bertuzzi Cleary-Hudler-Eaves Neil-Abdelkader-Helm Draper Kronwall-Lidstrom Rafalski-Stuart Ericcson-Carkner

on a side note is it just me or has Ericcson gotten softer this season ? its just everytime i see the guy play he's skating off checks and it drives me INSANE! for his size he should be hammering guys

The only reason i say Smith is because Kindl isnt playing so good right now anyway and i wouldn't mind sitting Draper,Miller or Eaves for a game or 2...I'm pretty sure Filppula is leading the Griffs in PTS and was the only All-Star if im not mistaken
