I'll be at Saturday's game against the Kings. I'm hoping to see a good game by the Wings. It certainly would be nice for the Wings to go on a long winning streak. I'm thinking of making a sign for the game Saturday. Any ideas?

I'll be going to the Wings game January 23rd against the LA Kings. I've been to JLA a few times but have never had the chance to do much around that area. I'll be staying 2 nights in a hotel about 20 minutes south of the arena. I'll be coming up Friday night from the Toledo Walleye game (ECHL) then leaving Sunday morning to head to a Kalamazoo Wings game (ECHL). I have already been to Hockeytown Cafe but plan to eat there once again but also hit up Cheli's Chili for the first time. Does anyone have any suggestions on anything to hit up before the game on Saturday? There will be a lot of time to kill. Also, does anyone have the address to the Red Wings team store? The first time I went to JLA I found the address but never got the chance to go and now I can't find it. Thank you.

A question about Hockeytown Authentics though... What are their prices compared to what is at JLA for merchandise?

Thanks for the suggestions!! Unfortunately I don't have a passport. I've been meaning to get one mainly for the fact JLA is so close to Windsor. And over the summer I was thinking of going to a Blue Jays game. I have the papers to apply for one but I'm going to get them sent so I can get one. And Hockeytown Authentics was the store I was thinking of.

Austin Jackson is a young player and has done very well in AAA. I'm a Yankees fan (ok, hate me now but at least I'm a Wings fan ). I will tell you I didn't like the idea of letting Jackson go because he very well could be a guy who wins numerous Gold Gloves. But then again...maybe not. He could be a AAA guy all his life with a few call ups or he could be a trade that bites the Yanks in the butt. Coke will be decent but he has work to do still.
