They haven't played the wings yet.

If there was nobody sitting in front of them you should of pushed them forward when they got up... That would of been real funny. You would of been a hero to the people around you! lol or, you should of "dropped" a drink right in front of them and told them oh well you shouldn't be sitting there. I bet they wouldn't be talking sh*t if that happened. These people are just the type who have never been taught a good lesson in life. It will happen sooner rather then later.

Long Story short, my first experience to hockey was Darren McCarty's goal vs the Flyers. So I guess I picked a great time to get into it. In my house growing up it was all about Soccer, and still is as it is my favorite sport. So not much exposure to hockey. But now Hockey and the Red Wings aren't too far behind soccer.

Posts like this are funny in so many ways. I can picture Americans sitting on there computers just tearing away at the Canadians sitting back and laughing. Then I picture some Canadians sitting at home saying oh well if our 'A team' we would of won. To the Americans, once again congrats, and I love the teasing. To my fellow Canadians, don't get to worked up about posts like this. You know their is always going to be this rivalry. This time the United States won it, just let them enjoy it, its been a while ( that last comment was my little tease hehehe ) Life would be so crap if everyone agreed on everything.

It could suck, but Canada could of won the World Juniors if they had all those players.. lol just kidding But seriously. During the Olympics its most likely gonna be crazy around here. But after the Olympics, when Detroit has a healthy team and will be destroying anyone and everyone they play all of us will forget quickly what went down at the Olympics GO WINGS GO!

This is exactly what I wanted to say, but said in a better way.

Disagree, the reason why Canadians love this tournament and take it so seriously is because Canadians love their hockey. Whether it be Olympics, World Championship, or World Juniors we support our teams and love our hockey. We love the World Juniors because these are the players that will most likely be representing this nation in the future in Olympics and World Championships.

Okay this world Junior thing is getting on my nerves, like i mentioned in the WJ thread the Americans deserved to win it. They were the better team, and there is no doubting it. The speed, and shot blocking ability they showed in the tournament was outstanding. I was absolutely shocked. But I didn't even realize until i read this thread that Canada had those players that weren't playing because they are playing for teams in the NHL. Not to take anything away from the team that won it, but I do tend to think that if Canada had those players it would of been a different story. Now this B team bull, so what if it was our A, B, or C team. The fact is Canada lost, they got beat by the better team. You have to win with what you got. As Wings fans we can all agree that we love this team and we all want/ hope they make the playoffs and win the cup this year but if we don't were going to blame the injuries, and why would we do that because thats what happened we got injuries and (maybe, hopefully not) good enough to compete to make the playoffs or win the cup or whatever. Its just like what my fellow Canadians are saying when we would of won with those players we didn't have. We could of, should of, would of, but its not what happened. Would Canada have won with those guys? Chances are much higher but it doesn't mean we would. Would Detroit be first place without the injuries, maybe who knows. Who knew that adding 40 goals into a Stanley cup wining lineup would make us lose the next year?
