Too much like you've said.What's wrong with giving kids more shots like the rest of the league do? This way you have the whole 4th line buried in the minors+plugs on a current roster. -

I didn't.We were great in the Playoffs playing kids,while Sammy and Bert were in the press box.Not much later the same kids won Calder Cup,but the same old geezers got an advantage over the same kids -

What does the injuries have with the fact that we have too many bottom 6 forwards,too many veterans,not so many reliable D men and a minus in cap space? -

These games vs Tampa are the proof that overriping doesn't always work.Our kids beat Stevie's kids not so long ago and now they look better just because of NHL experience.

Exactly,rather put an extra work with the D men on transition play. -
I love Ozzie,but it seems like he doesn't want to criticize the Wings players and only points the good plays.I understand he's pretty close to the most of them,but come on man,you're not in the locker room anymore He's a rookie announcer,he could change,but Mickey's..."take a good look young hockey players" style is what I prefer more.
