$3.5M per...that's too much.I'd take him over Cleary,but he had one good season so 2.5-3M per sounds like a reasonable offer. One step at time boy,take a note from Flip and Weiss and you could earn a big contract even at the age of 30.

$2,307,121 is our cap space at the moment with Nyquist,Andersson and Smith as RFA's and still working on a deal with Cleary. It looks to me that Ken is still on the phone working on a potential trade. Thoughts...?

Nothing against the signing really,if Brunner and Cleary are past tense here.Alfredsson is not totally washed up like Modano was and it's only one year contract. -
Absolutely love it.Weiss is an underated player and the terms are very good for an UFA player that quality.Actually this a first UFA player I wanted and Ken signed since Hossa, so I'm shocked,lol

Agreed,but this is his second stint with the Wings and it's not like he won the contract via arbitration.Ken and co. signed him despite knowing he only cares about the money. Anyway,I think he's still a top 6 material...for the Griffins
