This...and gets Lids-like $$$ as well. I'd rather want to see Ken trying to trade for Bogosian.He's young,big,gritty,shots right handed and is relatively cheap.

He's been criticized by coaches,GM's,fans and media and still took short term contract in the NHL,rather than big $$$ in Russia. Should give some credit to the bongo guy Oh and I'm definitely looking forward to see the Canes game with Pierre or Crawford doing "between the benches" stuff,should be interesting

Idk.maybe giving an extra million to wisniewski,ehrhoff or trade for boghosian would help,just don't stand pat and pray your prospects(E,Kindl) are gonna turn into studs after 4-5 years of so-so hockey. Agree on Smith though,but still rather wanted to see him playing the whole season with Nick here than in GR. No one said it's easy,but your goal as a GM should be to improve your team,sorry,but I didn't see any significant improvement on the defense for the second off season in a row. -

Which is the best way to operate in the cap world,unless your prospects don't pan out like ours. You don't stand pat then like Ken,rather try to get your top d-men outside of the organisation and make the retirement of your #2 and #1 d-men much less painful. -

Actually I think he could be a perfect fit here.He's a very good puck moving and PP QB defense man. If Kenny was ready to give a 1st for Quincey it would make sense to me to send a 2nd round pick for Lubo. -
Nah those type of players are pure gold and the price would be as high as for Nash. But hey,maybe Ken should make a brilliant move and send an offer sheet to E.Kane

I'm sick of all those divisional,conference,"arch rivals" crap. Kenny should explore eastern conference a little bit more and probably pay less than acquiring some western conference big fish via trade.
