Red Wings make "helluva" offer for Nash, no response

Yeah, except we have replacements for both Filppula and Nyquist in Jarnkrok,Tatar,Jurco...not sure about prospect with Nash's potential -

Actually think the offer is really good both ways.We get top 6 power forward,Howson gets what he wants,2 forwards ready to play and a pick. -

So it was Flip+Nyquist+1st after all. That really sounds like a "helluva" offer -
that sucks, but can you imagine Pavs centering that line with a couple of 30 goal scorers on the wings
-
Well if playing with the world class player like Datsyuk didn't spark him too much then...

Usually agree with your posts, but not this time.Franzen might be lazy and floater at times, but he's still 30 goals scorer with under $4mil cap,our prospects poll is among the best in the league and Kenny's offer is the best offer they got so far. lol -

That's what the reports say. -

So the offer was Franzen+prospect+pick and Howson rejected.... -

Actually I think Holland knew he won't get Nash. He sends a message that he's willing to overpay if he's interested -
Red Wings Rebuilding and Adapting to Maintain Dominance
pucktividi replied to MrBest7's topic in General
Of course I don't,but we have 15 forwards signed,16 with Abdelkader, with Brunner and Nyquist on 2-way contracts. Ken said he won't pull a trade if it's isn't a perfect fit or makes perfect sense, therefore he'll waive Mursak and Emmerton which I doubt or likely send Nyquist and Brunner to the Griffins -
Yeah,Backman plays like a NHL veteran based on what I saw during the WJHC,which is amazing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=endscreen&NR=1&v=G5mgipR-mJA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pcI-6-ewrUU

Agree,4 years ago,our top 4 d-men were awesome+we had E,Kindl and Smith waiting for a chance and the future looked very bright so can't blame Ken for doing "nothing" these days, but at the moment it became obvious that both E and Kindl kinda underachieved and with a threat of Nick's and Raffi's retirement,Ken should have take a risk to get another #1/2 d-man somehow. Yes,Smith looks great, but no one can convince me there isn't a possibility he'll underachieve, because everyone expects from him to step up big time.

Red Wings Rebuilding and Adapting to Maintain Dominance

...except Nyquist,Tatar and Brunner will split the time between GR and the Wings and Smith and Kindl are going to play for the reason we don't have anyone else to dress. -
Come on,his words were he'll do everything he can to get Suter/Parise,and it's not like the media don't know we are desperate to get d-men after Lidstrom/Stuart departures
-
Ok,let see: -'we need top scorer and another top d-man'........' First off, we're done in goal. I think we've got lots of pieces of up front... it's not like we've lost two guys(Nick and Stuie) and don't have any players." -FA signings:Brunner,Tootoo,Sammy,Monster..... "I don't think we need a whole bunch of guys, I think if we can get one more player, (we'll be fine)." -re-signing Bertuzzi, adding Samuelsson and probably some veteran d-man....."we'll let the kids play" I'm not on the "fire Ken" bandwagon, but can someone explain me WTF is going on here?
-
Ladies and gentlemen your one and only spin doctor Kenny Holland
-
And yet when some of the posters here dare to criticize Ken,they are labeled as bad, ungrateful fans and armchair GM's
-
Maybe, but Pavs looked like a regular player at the Worlds, until Semin joined the team, and then....
-
And that is to pray that Datsyuk isn't 100% ready
-
That's true, even Babs admits it,therefore he wanted Renney here to be more friendly with the players. http://www.kuklaskorner.com/index.php/tmr/comments/red_wings_summer_development_camp_day_2_afternoon_session_working_out_and_t/ scroll down, there's 10 minutes interview
-
He'll get Kronner's 36 points ,mark it,lol
-
He's good,no doubt, had good numbers playing in Finland, but Ville Leino was a frkin star there and Jiri Hudler made an All-Star game in KHL and we let them both go...that's how good and deep our prospect pool is
