GOAL!!!! Thank Cheesus!

View PostLeftWinger, on 19 March 2010 - 10:25 PM, said: I certainly hope that Ken Holland realizes after the season that the Todd Bertuzzi/Jason Williams experiment is over. Bertuzzi hasn't been the same since he stopped taking roids after the Steve Moore incident and Williams, well, Williams has always sucked. I do kinda agree that this team lacks serious leadership, God bless Lids, but he is not a very good Captain. Not wanting to, but have to point out that Kronwall was on the ice for both goals and he was way out of position. I have never been a Kronwall fan, and still think he should have been traded at the draft to move up as far as they could have. Maybe it'll happen this off season, but his value this time of the year compared to this time last year is severely less. Seriouly though, Bertuzzi sucks, God please do not re-sign him! PLEASE!!!! Based on the fact that he was the first European born & trained captain to lead a team to a Stanley Cup Championship... Oh wait...

Lebda is their lucky pylon....

2-0? Cheesus! I'm starting to think that Lebda in the line-up is indeed a good luck charm for the team.

2010 NHL Trade Deadline Thread - March 3rd, 3:00 PM ET

The difference between a no-cap & capped league. Plus back then, the Wings would more easily part with draft picks since money could help cover for a lack of depth/development in the farm system. Apples to oranges. -

Pierre LeBrun on ESPN.com saying word from the Thrashers front office is "stay tuned". Something going on there apparently. With the Wings? I guess we wait & see. -
2010 Winter Olympics - Canada vs United States (Group A)

NBC not putting this on their main broadcast tonight was an epically bad decision on their part. That said, the two games played already today (and hopefully Sweden/Finland later) have certainly proven why the NHL should continue to allow their players to complete in the Olympics. Of course that means that Buttman will find a way to screw that up though. -

Agreed. No hate for Canada here. Just hate for the asshats on their team i.e. Crysby, Pronger, Nierdermayer, Getzloaf, Perry, Iginla, Morrow....I'll stop there before I name pretty much their whole roster. I will honestly feel sorry for all the heat that Stevie & Babs will take when they don't win gold though. -

Raffy breaking up a chance by Thorton & then drawing a penalty? He is playing like a beast! He better bring this game back to Hockeytown. -
Anyone Else Miss the Larger International Rinks?

There's a certain Swedish, Red Wing d-man who thinks all leagues should play on NHL sized ice & he has my vote. Watch the video here... http://sports.espn.go.com/olympics/winter/...tory?id=4930003 -
Mine's Ville Leino.... Traded? Aw dammit! I guess I'll have to find another LGW whipping boy to pick as a favorite now.

Pretty confident that was the game in question since I was there in Columbus to see it live. That is unless Stevie did this at more than one game.

Inside sources have actually said that it's not a foot injury, they're just spreading misinformation about the true injury so players don't target it when he returns. In reality, he threw out his back laughing too hard after hearing someone say his nickname was "Holmer".
