I'm not from grand rapids, but the last time i was there mulligans seemed like a pretty sweet wings bar. awesome drink specials (pitcher of PBR for $4 all day every day) and tons of wings stuff on the walls.

I just took the clippers to my beard and am probably going to take a razor to it on wednesday, depending on how much growth happens between now and then. This is the first time i've had 0 facial hair since i was in high school.

After the 09 winter classic this game was brought up a bunch, but yankee stadium has a NCAA bowl game happening in it around Jan 1st, and while possible, the NHL would have very little time to set up the rink. It will be 3-4 years before a hockey game happens in yankee stadium. I feel like the upside to having a Pens Caps winter classic is that while both teams have a large fan base, both also have a lot of buzz around them which could attract a casual hockey fan to watch the game. It would be neat if they used the winter classic to be the first game of the season between the two teams that played for the cup the year before.

i think if this goes to a shootout, thats where we'll have the advantage.

I was 8 or 9 when it happened but i knew i was watching something special and whenever i watch the video now i still get chills up my spine.

im pretty sure the rule is as long as your body stays in forward motion and does not stop you're good.

i saw the last ten min or so of the game. Once the sharks offense clicked they looked unstoppable. Naby looked real shaky though.

I agree 100% with this. Watching the game tonight, USA looked like they had been playing together for seasons instead of around a week. To me, they look like one of the best two way teams I've ever seen. All the players seem to know where their linemates are at all points and can clear the puck out of their zone and start a rush in a blink of a eye. the Canadian team looked like a bunch of players playing together all trying to be the star, which does not work.
