Why are we playing so slow. They are playing like this game doesn't matter. Or like they are just too nervous for this situation.

My sound is really off, like low speaking but loud background.

I'd blame that a bit more on Helm than Lilja. He needs to get a stick on that. Not a great pass but still, do something. Don't just stand there. They all look horrible though. Why oh Why?

One idea I have would be to limit the players you can use each week. This will take care of those concerns that the same players will be chosen each game and also, perhaps prevent us from having to have a million categories. By this I mean, during a weeks time of games, you can only choose each player ONCE. So I used Raffi, Kronners and Dats against Buffalo, so I couldn't reuse them the rest of the week. Of course that was on a Saturday, so I'd get a clean slate now. Sunday - Saturday would be the weeks. For opposing teams, nothing changes. Thoughts? Great game though! Thanks for doing all the work, too!!

Can we please end the Lebda v Ericsson debate now? Lebda is a much better option. He brings a different element to the table (speed), and has shown/proven when he plays with a defensive-minded defenseman, he is a great asset out there. Probably Filp and Z's best game this season. Babcock and LGW posters might have been on to something with that line change...Let's hope it continues (the productivity, not the changing of the line combinations) Howard looked solid. If and when Ozzie comes back, what risk is there versus reward? Will the team play tentatively? Will Ozzie play deep in his goal? We can't afford to lose games now (that's pretty obvious) but Howard is certainly going to need a break at some point, or will he? Good win. Nashville just lost; 5-8. Calgary won. Bring on Buffalo. Next game hopefully next win.

Lebda's speed and ability to move the puck with both his legs is an asset. It's a different style of defense from anyone else we have. He was all over the ice (in a good way) last night. He is an asset when playing with the right personnel. That's my point. With Lilja back, it's a no brainer for me - play Lebda.

I'll be at the game. I was there Tuesday, but in different seats. Hopefully returning to my natural post will help the Red Wings return to their natural form. I don't normally like to predict the Red Wings games, but you know what, I think we could all use some positive energy. Well, a change was definitely in order - And I hope this leads to goals and wins. In terms of the boards I can already see it now; either Filps adds a lot and his praisers praise more or he doesn't and the line struggles and his praisers make more excuses. Go Wings Go.

Zetterberg. Ericsson. Cleary. Filppula. These are the names of the players who have and are costing us a chance at the post-season. It's not the injuries. It's not Bertuzzi or Williams. Those guys weren't brought in to carry the team, although Bert did for December. It's those guys. Zetterberg. Ericsson. Cleary. Filppula. These guys need to look in the mirror and figure it out. Actually I hope Ericsson can figure it out on the bench...I'd rather have Lebda - he at least has speed and makes quick decisions. His decisions aren't always right, but Ericsson is tentative and we're running out of time.

Where were the Filp lovers during his great assist to A. Ladd? It's about the Red Wings winning and that's all. The Filp thing always gets way out of hand one way or the other. People are allowed to call him out when he does something bad and vice versa when he does something good. He's at the backend of our Top Six forwards. That's it. But some people on here think he is our third best or higher, and only try to support there claims with his positives while ignoring his negatives - it can be frustrating for the rest of us.

Man what a disgraceful effort. I'd love to hear them explain this one. They should give back 1,000 dollars per player per loss and put it towards the Production Line Ice Palace.
