It's not about blame or fault. It'd be nice to see him score on of those, though. For a guy who has Finish in his blood, he doesn't do a whole lot of it.

Does Clearly look terrible to anyone else? Good penalty draw by Filps but then he didn't finish again. Damn but good draw.

No, and that's a good point. However, and this is where I wish we could talk in person, my point was more to the OP that it's never Filp coming out on top of a him v. Dman with the better of the two plays. But yes, he did good things on that shift, no doubt.

While I agree with you, I also think for some people, Filp can never do anything WRONG.

My argument was how come Fil can never make a strong offensive play? And no one has answered yet. It's always that a D outplays him. And never the other way around.

Yes fine that is fair to a point. My point was sarcastically putting in the OPs face that he should look at all salaries first. I do think money arguments are mostly stupid. My point wasn't about the salaries as much as it was about the fact that the OP ignored some data.

How come Filppula never makes the brilliant play. It's always the defenseman covering him. What is Quincey paid, probably less than Filps. Always dumb money excuses with you Filppula lovers. Why don't you watch the game and your mouth.

It was. But at some point, one time, I'd like to see Filp make the good OFFENSIVE play and finish for a goal.

What word is that? The Original Lines poster are basically perfect. I'd like to see Nick Senior w/ Nick Junior and Raffi w/ Stuey. That's all I'd change. You need strength down the middle - we can't afford to split up Z and Pav. Plus that's a terribly weak third line. Borderline useless.

This doesn't make any sense considering this is the line that carried us all season long. Filps would be better suited on the third line in the center position. Showcasing our depth and strength down the middle. Plus he'd be more likely to score against weaker line assignments. Like at the beginning of the season...when his line was rolling with chances...no coincidence ther...
