From what I've seen of Subban, he definitely has good technique when it comes to open-ice hits, lines it up north/south and throws the hit with his body, not his arms. A lot like the hits that Kronwall used to make in the playoffs. I don't see what everyone is complaining about with his attitude, he is not cocky, he is confident, there is a big difference. IMO being cocky is more like what you see in the NBA, where guys hit a jumper, block a shot, or whatever and they pound their chest, showboat down the court, get in the other guy's face, and whatnot. I don't see any of that in Subban's game, he is just confident and so far seems to have the skills to back up his confidence.

I agree that they need a new look on the 2 power-play units, and if Babcock is going to split up Datsyuk and Zetterberg for the man advantage, I would like to see him go with the following units: Franzen-Zetterberg-Bertuzzi/Cleary Lidstrom-Rafalski Filppula-Datsyuk-Holmstrom Kronwall-Stuart/Ericsson Franzen and Zetterberg have shown on many occasions, especially the playoffs, to have great chemistry, and whether Bertuzzi or Cleary plays the other wing they have done well. If you have to move Filppula to the wing, he seems to play better on Datsyuk's wing, going back to late in the '08 season. Ericsson deserves a shot at playing the PP, he has been playing 100% better than last season and he has a cannon from the point. I know he often struggles getting the shot off quickly, especially when pressured, but on the PP there is typically less pressure on the points. Finally, get Hudler off the point, either put him on a wing or don't put him on the PP at all.

Hall of Fame for Osgood? I say yes, especially if he breaks the 400 win plateau. You don't win 3 Cups and 400 games by just being a "system" goalie, he earned everything he has achieved. Retire his number? That's debatable, and because it is debatable it should not happen. Lidstrom's #5 will definitely be retired, and that will be the last one for a very long time, unless the Ilitches decide to finally raise #6 like they should have done a long time ago.

Two things I hope happen in this game: 1) Wings play a full 60 minutes 2) Hudler is benched in favor of any other forward that will actually make an effort out there Not saying I hate Hudler, I just think it is wrong for him not to be in the rotation of healthy scratches. If anything, Eaves should be full-time and the rotation should be Hudler, Miller, Draper.

I'd have to say they are the best combination, at least among US networks, I admit I don't catch as many Canadian broadcasts as some on here. Other teams have one really good PBP or color guy, but most do not have both.
