I had an idea, something along the lines of a displaced fan relocation airline for Phoenix fans to fly to Winnipeg (incorporating the Jets logo), but use a really small plane like a Cessna or some turbo-prop signifying how few fans the Coyotes actually have. I haven't been able to find a decent pic of a plane that would fit my idea, so if you can do it more power to you.

Yes, highest seed plays lowest seed, they re-arrange the bracket accordingly. In the SCF, they base home-field advantage on points, so if we get the threepeat with Pissburgh, we would actually get home ice even though they are a 4 seed and we are a 5, we finished with more points.

You said it, I think every fan of every team besides Pittsburgh can add Real Deal to their Christmas card list, as someone said in another thread, I would not be surprised if Marc Savard or any of his Boston teammates buy the kid dinner and thank him for what he did. And to make Kane even more likable, the whole thing started because he was body-checking Crosby and Cooke tried to start static with him.

The irony is that his dad is a boxer, and named him Evander after Holyfield. I like this kid even more now, not only for standing up to that spot-picking cheapshot artist, but also for giving him a taste of the Marc Savard went through. You can run, but you can't hide from karma.

Well, that could have been much worse. Let's hope they show up to play on Sunday, we have to do more with the chances we get against the 'Hawks. Have to rely on Edmonton and St. Louis to play spoiler tomorrow, and get a point or 2 out of Chicago.

Either both teams forgot how to skate, or the ice must be really terrible tonight, lots of tripping, losing edges, plus the puck seems to be bouncing more than usual.

I think it's a matter or preference. Last year, I shaved as soon as the last regular season was over, this year I actually started mine after the Olympics since we were basically in a playoff situation for the last 20 games of the season.

To be politically correct, he should be referred to in his native tongue as "Guy LeDouche". Seriously, does this guy think before opening his mouth? True, last time they played us in Detroit they won 6-3, but does he remember the last time we played in Vancouver, we came back from 2-0 down to force OT, then won on Zetterberg's clutch buzzer-beater. Sounds like selective memory to me. I'm not even going to get into his comments about Detroit itself, what a jerk, I hope we do play them in the 1st round so we can use that as bulletin board material and shove his words directly up his @$$

Look for Williams to be replaced by either Abdelkader right off the bat. Maybe see May take Miller's place if we have an opponent with a noted fighter (though among the 1-4 seeds in the West, none come to mind). Now that we have everyone healthy, we have the luxury of tinkering with the lineup but I don't think much is needed, our lines are pretty solid right now, our D is set up the way it should have been, all in all I like our chances of making another deep playoff run. Also, good to see Mursak getting the call-up, he had a great season and is maybe a year away from cracking the Wings lineup.

I was talking about the playoff this season, not next year. Unless I'm mistaken, Hudler can't come back for the playoffs. I like the line combos the way they are now, and with the roster freedom that is available in the postseason, I would drop Williams in favor of Abdelkader in a heartbeat. If you want to talk next season, then yes I hope Hudler comes back we could use his scoring touch, I agree that Eaves should get a multi-year deal, 4 or 5 years, Miller should get 2 or 3, Bertuzzi I could go either way unless something much better comes available, and Ritola will likely be the 13th forward unless Draper or Homer retire.
